The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports the leisure and hospitality industry suffered a loss of 61,000 jobs in January, leading to the worst plunge of the month.
The retail and trade sector sustained a total loss of 37,800 jobs, according to the bureau report.
Not to mention, transportation, warehousing, and manufacturing also suffered a loss of 37,000 workers, adding to the problem.
