Immediately following President Donald Trump’s second Senate impeachment acquittal, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) made a surprise visit to the House impeachment managers, and revealed her rage at the decision to the media.
Alan Dershowitz, on Newsmax TV on Monday, dismissed the argument presented by 144 Constitutional lawyers in a letter last week supporting former President Donald Trump’s second impeachment.
The group of attorneys wrote that arguments claiming Trump’s speech on Jan. 6 is protected by the First Amendment are “legally frivolous,” and said that the First Amendment does not prevent the former president from facing an impeachment trial.
Dershowitz told “John Bachman Now,” when asked about the letter: “I think of myself as a reasonable scholar and jurist, and I am categorically making the argument,” that Trump’s speech was protected by the First Amendment.
Missouri Republicans moved a step closer in their attempt to nullify some federal gun laws Wednesday when the Senate passed legislation that would bar federal workers from some state careers for enforcing such policies.
The Senate voted 23-8 to send the bill back to the House, where it passed earlier. The House can either accept the Senate’s changes or negotiate a compromise version.
Senators voted for the bill along party lines with Republicans in support and Democrats in opposition. It would declare “null and void” any past, present or future federal law deemed to be an infringement on gun rights for law-abiding citizens.
Federal agents who knowingly enforce those laws could face civil penalties stemming from lawsuits filed by Missouri residents who think their gun rights were infringed. Those workers would also be banned from future careers in state or local enforcement.
Gun restrictions give killers the upper hand. Background check waiting periods keep good people unarmed for extended periods of time. So, while the anti-gun crowd is pushing for universal background checks and a lengthy and expensive licensing process, (that the bad guys will pay no attention to) good people are left defenseless because they’re subjected to unnecessary costs, waiting periods, and often avoidable delays.
An amendment co-authored by Indiana Sen. Todd Young would prevent undocumented immigrants from receiving stimulus checks. The Senate passed the amendment Thursday on a bipartisan 58 to 42 vote. (Updated: Feb 5, 2021)
The U.S. Navy has patents on weird and little understood technology. According to patents filed by the Navy, it is working on a compact fusion reactor that could power cities, an engine that works using “inertial mass reduction,” and a “hybrid aerospace-underwater craft.” Dubbed the “UFO patents, The War Zone has reported that the Navy had to build prototypes of some of the outlandish tech to prove it worked.
Dr. Salvatore Cezar Pais is the man behind the patents and The War Zone has proven the man exists, at least on paper. Pais has worked for a number of different departments in the Navy, including the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAVAIR/NAWCAD) and the Strategic Systems Programs. (SSP) The SSP mission, according to its website, is to “provide credible and affordable strategic solutions to the warfighter.” It’s responsible for developing the technology behind the Trident class nuclear missiles launched from Submarines.

Jimmy Dore: "Literally grown up people who speak into a microphone for a living said that you have to be nice to politicians to get them to do things for you, is there a historical example of this working?"
Chris Hedges: "That shows that you don't understand power or how it works, the story comes from Kissinger's memoirs where Kissinger's talking about being in the white-house, 1971, the white house is surrounded by tens of thousands of anti war demonstrators, Nixon has put empty city buses in a ring around the white house as a protective barrier, and he is freaking out saying , "Henry they are going to break through the barricades and get us." And that is our job to make sure that's where politicians are.
In a new interview this morning on Good Morning America, the head of the DC National Guard, Major General William Walker appeared to have said the troops were there to assist with a “peaceful transition to Military power”.
Strangely, when CNN’s Anderson Cooper interviewed Sullivan, he never mentioned his recent criminal history, his threats of preventing President Trump from serving a second term, including “ripping” him from the White House, or the radical group he founded that supports Anarchy and an armed revolution.
Polish ‘Gorale’ (Highlanders) are a large community stretching around 100 miles across South Poland highlands and widely respected for maintaining their way of life and defying all regulations that try to cow them. Barring some sort of earth shattering intervention, yep – this one is extra bad because it will bring upon us “the great reset”. In essence, the final submission to global governance as the regime obeys and complies with their world masters. -- So for some reason, the late (and very cynical) comedian George Carlin popped into my head. I recall some of his various statements towards government. I thought I would look it up and copy some of it here. Just because.

Why are the corrupt establishment Democrats and Republicans in Congress talking about impeaching and removing Trump with only 13 days left in his administration? They may be well aware of what he can do during that time with the US military fully supporting him. Robert David Steele, Simon Parkes, and Charlie Ward discuss what they think will happen in the next two weeks. They indicate that a second Trump administration is still possible.
There wasn’t just a little vote fraud this year. There was a lot of it, and it was all very coordinated, meaning this fraud didn’t just ‘happen,’ it was carefully planned out and executed. -- People need to go to jail for this.

Nike is facing a backlash in Japan over an advert which highlights racial discrimination in the country.
The video shows the "real life experience" of three young soccer players from mixed heritage.
It has about 25 million views on social media and almost 80,000 shares.
But it has sparked fierce debate as Japan is unaccustomed to openly discussing sensitive issues such as race, with some questioning whether a foreign brand should have waded in.
Nike Japan said the ad highlights how people "overcome their daily struggles and conflicts to move their future through sports".
But some comments on social media said Nike was exaggerating the scale of discrimination, arguing that it was unfair to single out Japan. Other users threatened to boycott Nike products.
One comment said: "It's as if they are trying to say this kind of discrimination is everywhere in Japan."

The fatal officer-involved shooting occurred September 5, 2020 on the 4800 block of South Lavergne Avenue according to documents released by the Civilian Office of Police Accountability Thursday.

We can now test two views of comets against decades of discovery to pose the long unasked question...Is a radically new interpretation of comets required?
In Episode 3 of the Symbols of an Alien Sky series, David Talbott investigates and explains how comets and their phenomena may be of electric origin. For thousands of years these visitors have mystified, enchanted and terrified humanity. Even today, despite much attention from astronomers, the popular science of comets is filled with enigmas and unresolved mysteries. We have long thought of these bodies as mere chunks of dirty ice warming in the Sun. But since the beginning of the space age it seems that the key comet discoveries have all come as huge surprises.
