Leaked Internal CIA Document Admits US Drone Program “Counterproductive” … Obama Did It ANYWAY

Obama Knew Drone Strikes Were Counter-Productive, But Did It Anyway

Previously-leaked documents showed that the CIA warned Obama that funding rebels doesn’t work … but Obama decided to fund the Syrian rebels anyway for cynical political gain.

Top CIA officers say that drone strikes increase terrorism (and see this). Indeed, virtually all aspects of the American “war on terror” strategy creates more terrorists and weakens our national security. And see this.

Now, a leaked internal CIA memo shows that the Agency told Obama that drone strikes might be counter-productive.

Like Canada’s Harper Government, Obama Administration Muzzling Its Scientists

In recent years, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper has come under fire for disallowing scientists working for the Canadian government to speak directly to the press.

An article published in August by The New Republic said “Harper’s antagonism toward climate-change experts in his government may sound familiar to Americans,” pointing to similar deeds done by the George W. Bush Administration. That article also said that “Bush’s replacement,” President Barack Obama, “has reversed course” in this area.

Society for Professional Journalists, the largest trade association for professional journalists in the U.S., disagrees with this conclusion.

Jordan submits UN draft on Palestinians; Lieberman: Act of aggression

After a day of closed-door negotiations among Arab members of the United Nations, Jordan, which represents Arab countries on the Security Council, put the draft resolution "in blue," meaning the text of the draft has been finalized and could be put to a vote 24 hours later.

While the resolution could be put to a vote late Thursday, Riyad Mansour, Palestinian ambassador to the UN, said his country was open to continuing negotiations.

"The draft in blue in not closing the door to the continuation of the negotiation with all of our partners," Mansour said. "We are willing to work with those who want to work with us in the Security Council in a positive and constructive way."

U.S. Declares (Currency) War On Russia

U.S. economic terrorism (i.e. the One Bank’s economic terrorism) has hit a new extreme this week. This crime syndicate has launched what can be termed nothing less than an all-out effort to destroy the economy of Russia.

Its modus operandi is, once again, currency manipulation. What is the quickest/easiest way to destroy an economy? Drive the value of its currency as close to zero as possible. The effect of such a manipulated “devaluation” is a massive explosion in inflation. And the effect of that is to make all Russians much poorer.

The economic destruction caused by this economic terrorism affects Russians, and the Russian economy on a percentage-for-percentage basis. Each percentage lower that the banksters drive the ruble with their criminal manipulation makes Russians, and the Russian economy 1% poorer.

Betrayal? Majority of GOP Senators oppose calling Obama amnesty unconstitutional

While the Republicans are getting ready to take control of the of the U.S. Senate in just a few weeks, Americans witnessed a preview on Saturday of what can be expected in 2015 from a GOP majority in both houses of the U.S. Congress. The vast majority of the U.S. Senate openly disagreed with Sen. Cruz’s attempt to enter opposition to President Obama’s executive order on immigration, on the grounds it is unconstitutional, in the omnibus spending bill for 2015.

US to give Israel $350mn for Iron Dome

The US Senate has approved a multi-billion-dollar military spending bill that includes $350 million for Israel’s Iron Dome missile system.

The Senate passed the bill on Friday by a 89-11 vote.

The bill was sent to the White House for President Barack Obama's signature.

The 2015 defense authorization bill also authorized $521.3 billion for Defense Department operations, and about $64 billion for overseas military operations.

The House of Representatives last week approved the National Defense Authorization Act by a 300-119 vote.

Five billion dollars are allocated for the fight against the ISIL terrorist group. The money should be spent for the training and arming of the so-called moderate rebels in Syria for two years and for the training and assisting of Iraqi and Kurdish forces.

He also introduced a translated excerpt from a book by the former head of Czech counterintelligence, describing U.S. pressure to confirm that the meeting took place. Senator: Bush misled nation in run-up to Iraq war

The chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee released new information on Thursday that he claims is evidence that the Bush administration misled the nation in the run-up to the war in Iraq.

In a speech on the Senate floor, retiring Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., outlined a 2003 CIA cable that warns George W. Bush administration officials against making references to claims that Mohammad Atta - the man who led the 9/11 hijackers - met with an Iraqi intelligence officer in the Czech Republic before the Sept. 11, 2011, attacks. Levin claims Bush officials used the unconfirmed meeting to link Iraq to 9/11 to justify the U.S. invasion of Iraq.

Webmaster's Commentary:

All wars are started with lies. The people of the initiating nation do not want to go to war, as it is dirty, hard, dangerous, and ill-paid. No ruler dares come out and say, "Attack this other land because I want them attacked." Nobody would listen, or would demand a just share of the loot. Thus, the leaders who out of their own greed and lust for conquest must deceive the populace into thinking war is their only option, with frauds such as the Gleiwitz incident, torpedoes in the Gulf of Tonkin, Spanish mines in Havana harbor, or 9-11.

FALSE FLAG WARNING - Chicago A Top Terror Target; Ominous Tweet Connects ISIS Threat In City

Over the past six years, Chicago has become a top potential target for international terrorists, a top security expert said Friday, making the posting of a veiled threat by Islamic radicals on Twitter a higher cause for concern.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Right now Washington DC is in a corner and desperate. The official confirmation of the use of torture on innocent victims has destroyed the moral authority of the United States. Foreign nations, who knew all along what was happening, but stayed silent for political reasons, are now free to vent their disdain openly.

DC needs a distraction. They need to refocus the public attention on war. They need, like Israel, to regain the victim status.

The defenders of the torture regime justify their actions on the basis of 9-11, and nothing would serve them better than a repeat right now in these last weeks before Christmas.

Hence, we are suddenly seeing all these stories about ISIS is already in America and ready to strike. FOX News ran a poll in which they reported 81% of Americans say ISIS will attack on US soil soon. No American actually knows what ISIS will do, outside of those US officials conducting this clandestine operation. But while prudent minds might balk at a new false-flag operation in a world where the public already distrusts the official story on anything, DC is desperate, and desperate animals take desperate chances!

Are Rush Limbaugh And Fox News Still Laughing About Torture?

Last spring, Palin appeared before an NRA convention crowd and laughed about how liberals supposedly coddle America's mortal adversaries. "Oh, but you can't offend them, can't make them feel uncomfortable, not even a smidgen," said Palin. "Well, if I were in charge, they would know that waterboarding is how we baptize terrorists," The NRA audience roared with approval, but even some conservative commentators who saw the tape of Palin's wisecrack took offense, upset that she had linked bodily torture with a Christian sacrament. Palin, of course, hardly stands alone among conservative media commentators who have spent years not only downplaying the grievous practice of torture adopted by the Bush administration, but who have routinely made light of the cruel tactic previously banned by the United States.

The 5 Most Damning Revelations From The CIA’s Report On Bush-Era Torture

The Senate Intelligence Committee’s report on the CIA’s extensive use of torture reveals that the agency regularly misled the White House and Congress about the information it had obtained from detainees and used techniques that are far more brutal than it — or former Bush administration officials — had previously acknowledged.

For instance, President George W. Bush insisted that “[t]his government does not torture people” and claimed that the intelligence it produced was instrumental to preventing terrorism on American soil and capturing high-value targets, including Osama bin Laden. But the Committee’s five year investigation — and examination of more than six million CIA documents — reveals all of those assertions to be false.

House Republican leaders touted dents to the Internal Revenue Service budget and Environmental Protection Agency staffing levels, language that stalls some of President Obama’s plans to battle climate change, and the chance to fight the White House’s deportation amnesty next year as reasons to get behind the massive 1,600-page bill.

Nuremberg Trials

Held for the purpose of bringing Nazi war criminals to justice, the Nuremberg trials were a series of 13 trials carried out in Nuremberg, Germany, between 1945 and 1949. The defendants, who included Nazi Party officials and high-ranking military officers along with German industrialists, lawyers and doctors, were indicted on such charges as crimes against peace and crimes against humanity. Nazi leader Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) committed suicide and was never brought to trial. Although the legal justifications for the trials and their procedural innovations were controversial at the time, the Nuremberg trials are now regarded as a milestone toward the establishment of a permanent international court, and an important precedent for dealing with later instances of genocide and other crimes against humanity.

Obama admin ‘won’t be around forever’ - Israeli minister on W. Bank settlement stall

"I really want to approve plans and build more – right now this issue provokes a reaction first and foremost from the Americans, and then threats from various sources," Ya’alon said, as quoted by Haaretz, on Tuesday addressing high school students in a Jewish West Bank settlement.

According to Ya’alon, the United States has “led the charge” and Israel has been “very, very careful not to push the envelope too much.”

The construction will eventually begin again because the Obama administration “won’t be around forever.”

Obama administration claims a right to hide evidence before Supreme Court

In the June case, a minor child was killed in a car crash when a median barrier failed. The barrier had failed safety crash testing; the government knew but installed it anyway. When the plaintiff investigated, the government would not make federal employees — who knew the truth — available for deposition until after the two year deadline to file. The government now argues that equitable tolling should not apply to claims brought under the FTCA. It maintains that it can avoid liability by hiding evidence and waiting for the clock to run out.

The great lie of our time

In all International Relations (IR) classrooms throughout the English-speaking world, something called the democratic peace theory is taught. The theory holds that countries are less likely to go to war if they are democracies, and that installing democratic regimes is therefore the path to peace and security in the world. Paradoxically, the theory is more often applied to justify wars than to end them.

Democratic peace theory is a large part of the underlying rhetoric behind the United States’ commitment to “democratization” in the world’s conflict zones, particularly the Middle East and the former Soviet Union. While the US supplies arms to dictatorships it falsely labels “democracies,” it works to overthrow governments that were actually democratically elected.

The Five Dancing IsraelisArrested On 9-11

A Mossad surveillance team made quite a public spectacle of themselves on 9-11.
The New York Times reported Thursday that a group of five men had set up video cameras aimed at the Twin Towers prior to the attack on Tuesday, and were seen congratulating one another afterwards. (1)

Police received several calls from angry New Jersey residents claiming "middle-eastern" men with a white van were videotaping the disaster with shouts of joy and mockery. (2)

"They were like happy, you know … They didn't look shocked to me" said a witness. (3)
[T]hey were seen by New Jersey residents on Sept. 11 making fun of the World Trade Center ruins and going to extreme lengths to photograph themselves in front of the wreckage. (4)

Witnesses saw them jumping for joy in Liberty State Park after the initial impact (5). Later on, other witnesses saw them celebrating on a roof in Weehawken, and still more witnesses later saw them celebrating with high fives in a Jersey City parking lot. (6)

Webmaster's Commentary:

FOX News (among others) are trying to defend the commission of war crimes by the US Government by claiming that 9-11 justified the torture. So here is my question: Just how many ISRAELIS did the CIA torture to try to find the truth about 9-11?

Head fake? Obama never signed amnesty order

It’s common knowledge President Obama signed an executive order directing the Department of Homeland Security to forgive millions of illegal aliens for their past violations of immigration law, right?

Wrong.

Today the National Archives and Records Administration, responsible for maintaining such filings, said no such executive order was ever signed or filed, confirming WND’s report Wednesday.

A National Archives librarian, Jeffrey Hartley, made the confirmation in an email Thursday to WND.

“As I indicated, it would appear that there is not an Executive Order stemming from the President’s remarks on November 20 on immigration,” Hartley wrote.

President who vowed to end war, now seeks sweeping power to expand it

Secretary of State John F. Kerry told Congress Tuesday that President Obama wants expansive war powers to pursue the Islamic State terrorists wherever and however he deems necessary, stunning lawmakers by requesting a war authorization that would even allow the Pentagon to commit American combat troops to the fight.

Though Mr. Obama doesn’t want combat troops, he won’t have Congress tie his hands against unforeseen directions the war could take should the Islamic State evolve, expand its fight to other countries or prove more difficult to rout, Mr. Kerry said.

President Obama Praises "Patriotic" Torturers, Says USA "Greatest Force For Human Dignity The World Has Ever Seen"

Throughout our history, the United States of America has done more than any other nation to stand up for freedom, democracy, and the inherent dignity and human rights of people around the world. As Americans, we owe a profound debt of gratitude to our fellow citizens who serve to keep us safe, among them the dedicated men and women of our intelligence community, including the Central Intelligence Agency. Since the horrific attacks of 9/11, these public servants have worked tirelessly to devastate core al Qaeda, deliver justice to Osama bin Laden, disrupt terrorist operations and thwart terrorist attacks. Solemn rows of stars on the Memorial Wall at the CIA honor those who have given their lives to protect ours. Our intelligence professionals are patriots, and we are safer because of their heroic service and sacrifices.

They appeal to the German federal government, its representatives and the media to assume their responsibility for peace in Europe. The desire for a world without war is one shared far beyond the peace movement choir.

Arizona’s Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been one of the many voices warning about Obama’s actions.

Now he has now taken the huge step of filing a lawsuit against Obama to stop the government from implementing his unconstitutional plan to bestow amnesty on certain illegals.

Now that the lawsuit has been filed, WND is reporting on a motion filed seeking a preliminary hearing to request an injunction against Obama’s executive branch, and the agencies that make it up, to prevent them from further engaging in implementation of Obama’s unilateral changes to immigration law.

After weeks of protests and growing suspicion, Dutch authorities overseeing the investigation of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 have finally included Malaysia as a member of its Joint Investigation Team (JIT).

Malaysia had made it clear it was immensely displeased with its inexplicable exclusion from JIT formed after the downing of MH17 over eastern Ukraine. Including NATO members (Belgium and the Netherlands), a defacto NATO collaborator (Australia) and a potential culprit in the air disaster (Ukraine), Malaysia’s exclusion looked to be a part of an ongoing cover-up amid a larger attempt to use the disaster to frame Russia and advance NATO’s agenda in Eastern Europe.

As early as tomorrow, the long-awaited Senate torture report will finally see the light of day. Gangs of New York: Post-Garner NYPD on Watch for Militant Blacks ‘Preparing to Shoot On-Duty Police Officers’

While outrage continues to brew over the non-indictment of the officer that choked Eric Garner to death for selling “loose” untaxed cigarettes on the streets of New York, the NYPD is digging in, as the above New York Daily News image suggests.

Amid anti-police sentiments, the NYPD has claimed that members of the “Black Guerilla Family” are threatening to shoot on-duty police officers in New York. The group is known as an “ideological African-American Marxist revolutionary organization composed of prisoners” set up in the sixties, with inspiration from black leaders including Marcus Garvey.

US meddling to blame for ‘all Arab world sufferings’ – Sudan president

In his interview with RT’s Arabic Channel, the Sudanese president labeled Washington’s policies in Middle East and North Africa as “harmful and destructive.”

House Chooses New Cold War With Russia

Last week the US House voted overwhelmingly in favor of an anti-Russia resolution so full of war propaganda that it rivals the rhetoric from chilliest era of the Cold War. Ironically, much of the bill condemns Russia for doing exactly what the US government has been doing for years in Syria and Ukraine!

For example, one of the reasons to condemn Russia in the resolution is the claim that Russia is imposing economic sanctions on Ukraine. Carter would accelerate US war policy: Commentator

The nomination of Ashton Carter as US Secretary of Defense if approved will accelerate ‘horrific’ US foreign policy, a commentator tells Press TV.

“Transitioning this person to the Republican party if and when the Obama presidency ends in two years will be extremely detrimental to the world and will further the horrific activity that the American foreign policy is inflicting upon the world,” Scott Rickard, a former American intelligence linguist from Orlando said in an interview with Press TV on Friday.

“I believe we will see tremendous acceleration of military industrial complex activity, I don’t think that the brakes will be put on at all with this gentleman,” Rickard added.
