Trump says he will declassify 'everything' about warrants Obama used to spy on his campaign as he suggests James Comey was 'leading the effort' and the scandal will be 'bigger than WATERGATE'

President Donald Trump claimed on Thursday that it's likely former FBI Director James Comey led an effort to spy on his campaign in 2016.

And he told a Fox News Channel interviewer that he intends to declassify documents related to controversial surveillance warrants 'pretty soon.'

White House officials have vented both publicly and privately for more than a year about warrants the Obama Justice Department obtained from a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court to monitor Carter Page, then a Trump campaign foreign policy adviser.

The president signaled Friday morning that a reckoning was near.

'Finally, Mainstream Media is getting involved - too “hot” to avoid,' he tweeted, citing a front-page New York Times story about 'effort to spy on Trump Campaign.'

Kushner: US to Discuss Israel Annexing W Bank Possibility when New Gov't Formed

On 6 April, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to annex settlements in the West Bank if he secures another term as prime minister in Israel's parliamentary elections on 9 April.

White House senior adviser Jared Kushner said on Thursday that the Washington would discuss possibility of Israel annexing West Bank settlements when new Israeli government is formed, Reuters reported. Kushner noted that Israel and the Palestinians should wait to see his Middle East peace proposal before making any unilateral moves.

Kushner on 'two-state' solution: 'Let's just not say it'

President Trump's son-in-law is to reveal long-awaited deal next month despite rejection from Palestinian leadership.

Vowing to take a fresh approach, Kushner on Thursday gave the administration's strongest indication yet that the plan will not propose two states for Israelis and Palestinians - for decades the US-backed goal in marathon peace talks.

"If you say 'two-state', it means one thing to the Israelis, it means one thing to the Palestinians," Kushner said at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

We said, you know, let's just not say it. Let's just say, let's work on the details of what this means," he said.

Pompeo Drops Another Whopper

Having Admitted to “Lying” and “Cheating” while CIA Director, Pompeo Drops Another Whopper after Failed Venezuelan Coup

The lack of scrutiny given by the mainstream media to Bolton and Pompeo’s claims is yet another troubling sign of the transformation of many mainstream media outlets into faithful government stenographers.

Just a week after the former CIA director and now secretary of state admitted that the agency prior to and under his direction “lied,” “cheated” and “stole,” Mike Pompeo has delivered another claim that, despite his recent admission of dishonesty, has been regurgitated with little scrutiny by a variety of media outlets.

BARR BATTLE BOILS OVER

***
Neal Katyal: The system is working - NYT: “Many who watched Attorney General William Barr’s testimony on Wednesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee, which followed the revelation that the special counsel Robert Mueller had expressed misgivings about Mr. Barr’s characterization of his report, are despairing about the rule of law. I am not among them. I think the system is working, and inching, however slowly, toward justice. When it comes to investigating a president, the special counsel regulations I had the privilege of drafting in 1998-99 say that such inquiries have one ultimate destination: Congress. That is where this process is going, and has to go. We are in the fifth inning, and we should celebrate a system in which our own government can uncover so much evidence against a sitting president.”

How the Pentagon Took Ownership of Donald Trump

Donald Trump is a con man. Think of Trump University or a juicy Trump steak or can’t-lose casinos (that never won). But as president, one crew he hasn't conned is the Pentagon. Quite the opposite, they've conned him because they've been at the game a lot longer and lie (in Trump-speak) in far biglier ways.

People condemn President Trump for his incessant lying and his con games -- and rightly so. But few Americans condemn the Pentagon and the rest of the national security state, even though we’ve been the victims of their long con for decades now. As it happens, from the beginning of the Cold War to late last night, they’ve remained remarkably skilled at exaggerating the threats the U.S. faces and, believe me, that represents the longest con of all. It’s kept the military-industrial complex humming along, thanks to countless trillions of taxpayer dollars, while attempts to focus a spotlight on that scam have been largely discredited or ignored.

One thing should have, but hasn’t, cut through all the lies: the grimly downbeat results of America’s actual wars. War by its nature tells harsh truths -- in this case, that the U.S. military is anything but “the finest fighting force that the world has ever known.”>>>

Trump Likely to Be Barred from Addressing UK Parliament During State Visit

During his upcoming state visit to the UK next month, Donald Trump will most likely not address the UK Parliament, as House of Commons Speaker John Bercow continues to oppose the idea of the US president addressing the body.
According to a report by The Guardian, the US president will visit the UK between June 3 and June 5. During the visit, Trump will attend ceremonies marking the 75th anniversary of D-Day, June 6, 1944, when the Allied forces (Great Britain, France, the Soviet Union and the US) invaded Northern France (then occupied by Germany) through beach landings during World War II.

"I feel very strongly that our opposition to racism and sexism and our support for equality before the law and an independent judiciary are hugely important considerations in the House of Commons," Bercow said back in 2017, after UK Prime Minister Theresa May first invited Trump for a state visit.

Last week, Bercow and opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn also both refused an invitation to attend a banquet to be held in honor of Trump's state visit in June.

The Guardian, citing anonymous government sources, wrote that it is unlikely Trump will be allowed to address Parliament>>>

Einar Tangen on Trump's Ignorance

Einar Tangen: Trump Ignorant about Geo-Economics Principles, US to Experience Major Job Losses
TEHRAN (FNA)- Einar Tangen, Political and Economic Affairs Commentator, says US-China trade war is an evidence supporting that US President Donald Trump is unable to perceive the difference between the real estate branding business and geo-economics.

In an exclusive interview with FNA, Einar Tangen said he believes the US-China trade war will eventually hit the US more than China, saying, “US consumers, especially lower and middle class families, who have used cheaper international goods to offset their stagnant real disposable income will be faced with sharply higher costs of clothes, furniture, shoes and appliances… [resulting in] more expensive US exports and significant job losses.”

Einar Tangen is an American-Chinese Political and economic affairs commentator based in Beijing. He served as the President of the US State of Wisconsin International Trade Council, and the Vice-President for the American Association of Cost Engineers International (AACEI).

Trump Warns Russia to ‘Get Out’ of Venezuela

President Trump suggested on Wednesday that his administration had warned the Russian government to stay out of Venezuela after two Russian planes carrying military personnel arrived in Caracas this week, a move that places another significant obstacle in the White House’s slow-moving effort to oust President Nicolás Maduro.

During an Oval Office meeting with Fabiana Rosales, the wife of Juan Guaidó, the Venezuelan National Assembly politician recognized by the Trump administration and 50 other countries as the rightful interim president, Mr. Trump said that Russia needed to see its way out of the conflict.

“Russia has to get out. What’s your next question?” Mr. Trump told reporters.

Why Biden’s toughest opponent is his criminal justice record

***

For many groups in the Democratic Party, the Crime Bill was seen as a devastating expansion of the police state disproportionately shouldered by communities of color. It is seen as a law that is racist in part and one that has limited the economic, social, and educational opportunities among demographic groups already facing significant challenges in each. Although many in the Democratic Party see portions of the Crime Bill, including the assault weapons ban and the Violence Against Women Act, as positives, it is Biden’s authorship and support of the law as damning. (It should be noted that the only other 2020 presidential candidate who was serving in Congress in 1994, then-Rep. Bernie Sanders, voted in favor of the bill.)

As chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Mr. Biden pushed legislation that expanded the War on Drugs and as a Senator and Vice President, he did little to reform America’s addiction to treating drug use as a public safety rather than public health problem.>>>

After a few years of trying to deprogram people from this hoax, I have discovered a fascinating similarity in how people’s brains respond to having their worldview annihilated in real time. Trump’s Remorseful Ghostwriter

When Donald Trump announced his candidacy last year, one of the qualifications he listed was his best-selling book, “The Art of the Deal.” Part memoir, part business-advice book, it presents Trump as the savviest of negotiators. But there’s a problem: Trump didn’t actually write the book—at least not according to Tony Schwartz, the co-author and ghostwriter of “The Art of the Deal.” Schwartz spent more than a year with Trump back in 1986. He hasn’t ever talked publicly about the experience of working with him—until now.

Yesterday, on the radio show, I noted that Trump's negotiation strategy did not line up with his bok and speculated it had been ghost-written. As it turns out, this was the case!

Trump Coup Biggest Violation of Constitution in History – Former CIA Officer

President Trump says the Deep State tried and failed to remove him from office in a coup. Former CIA Officer and whistleblower Kevin Shipp says the attempted coup on Trump was a global conspiracy. Shipp explains, “Yes, this is a coup. This is the most shocking violation of the Constitution and criminal activity in the history, not just of America, but of a western government. Much of this rises to the level of treason. People need to understand how shocking this is. It was a clear conspiracy. There will be arrests and indictments without question. . . . This was a coup. It was a conspiracy. It was criminal activity. These people need to be indicted, charged and need to be put in prison, and if they’re not, then our Constitution is nothing more than a sham. Russia Ready to Discuss New Nuclear Deal With US, China

One day after reports that President Trump was pushing for a new nuclear arms treaty with Russia and China, the Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement confirming that they, too, are willing to negotiate on the matter. China has yet to directly respond.

Yesterday’s report suggested that Trump’s primary goal for any treaty was to place new limits on Russia’s nuclear arsenal. Russia’s Deputy FM Sergei Ryabkov said that Russia wants a joint statement of all three nations repudiating any use of nuclear weapons.

Talk of new nuclear negotiations is a surprise after the US unilaterally withdrew from the Intermediate Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty. Many feared this would usher in an era where disarmament talks just didn’t happen.

The US president last visited the UK in July 2018, with his visit being met with protests and even the launch of a "Trump-baby" blimp in London in mockery of the head of the White House.

Kim-Putin summit reaffirms onset of multipolar future

The summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and President Vladimir Putin was significant on various levels and reaffirms the onset of a multipolar world.

Knowing your enemies and understanding your friends is a maxim to live by. At the level of nation states, at a historic moment, defined by Gramsci’s rather overused but nonetheless prescient formulation, “the old is dying and the new cannot be born,” it is more than a rule to live by, it is a prerequisite of survival.

Failing to understand their enemies was central to the grim fate that befell Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi and the countries they led, Iraq and Libya. Thus far, the North Koreans, led by Kim Jong-un, have not allowed themselves to go down the same path.

Report: Global Military Expenditure at 3-Decade High, Biggest Spender US Sees First Increase Since 2010
The world has spent $1.8 trillion on its military in 2018, and the US is leading the charge, while some of its NATO allies are also buffing their war budgets citing the Russian threat despite Moscow decreasing its military spending.

The tensions between countries in Asia as well as between China and the USA are major drivers for the continuing growth of military spending in the region,” Pieter Wezeman, a senior researcher at the SIPRI Arms and Military Expenditure (AMEX) program, stated.

America’s Way of War: Killing Civilians

From Afghanistan to Iraq, Syria and Yemen, the United States and its allies have been really good at one thing only: Killing civilians in wars without end.

This has been going on since 2001, starting from Afghanistan, stretching to Yemen and then all the way back to Afghanistan, where the United Nations has once again warned that the United States and its allied forces are killing more Afghan civilians than the Taliban and other armed groups do.

This has been largely the case in the first three months of this year. A new quarterly report from the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan shows that from January to the end of March.

It’s interesting to note that in response to the report, US forces spokesman in Afghanistan Colonel Dave Butler has said: "We reserve the right of self-defense of our forces. The best way to end the suffering of non-combatants is to end the fighting through an agreed-upon reduction in violence on all sides."

The thing is, the ongoing violence could be reduced to a great extent if all US and NATO forces actually leave the war-torn country.>>>

Putin's Envoy: Iranian Forces in Syria Remain 50 Miles Away From Israeli Border

***
Iranian forces in Syria remain around 80 kilometers (50 miles) away from the border with Israel despite Washington’s statement that it recognizes Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, Russian Special Presidential Envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentyev told Sputnik in an interview.

“We have reached agreement with our Iranian friends that certain units that have been there [at the Syrian border with Israel] in order to ensure security of the southern de-escalation zone will be transferred to a safe distance, from 75 to 80 kilometers. They fulfill their promises,” Lavrentyev said, when asked if Trump’s statement had triggered the approaching of Iranian forces to the border.

In July 2018, Iran agreed, due to the Russian mediation, to move its units present in Syria away from the border with Israel by 85 kilometers, which significantly reduced Israeli concerns, according to the presidential envoy. The recent statement by US President Donald Trump on the US recognition of the Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, disputed between Israel and Syria, could have made Tehran change its decision>>>

Trump fracking plan targets over 1 million acres in California

The Trump administration on Thursday detailed its plan to open more than a million acres of public and private land in California to fracking, raising environmental concerns at a time when opposition to oil and gas drilling in the state is intensifying.

The action would end a five-year moratorium on leasing federal land in California to oil and gas developers. That pause came after a federal judge ordered the Obama administration to halt similar leasing efforts until it could better evaluate the environmental risks of hydraulic fracturing, also known as fracking.

US Oil Companies To Make Billions Out Of Tougher Sanctions On Iran

The market value of US drilling companies has increased by billions of dollars, after Washington announced that it will not renew sanctions waivers granted to eight countries allowing them to import oil from Iran. The companies, which are concentrated in states such as Texas, Oklahoma and California, look like being the main winners from tougher US sanctions on Iran, Bloomberg has reported .

The US decision has also increased the profits of US energy companies that are among the biggest beneficiaries of sanctions aimed at crippling Iran and pushing it to the negotiating table.

Can Trump block witnesses, access to documents?

Trump has refused to cooperate in numerous congressional probes, setting the state for several long court fights.

President Donald Trump is refusing to cooperate with several committees in the House of Representatives that have launched investigations of his presidency and business dealings, setting the stage for a legal confrontation that is likely to land in the US Supreme Court.

"We just went through the Mueller witch-hunt," Trump told reporters at the White House on Wednesday. "And they came up with no collusion and they also came with no obstruction."

"We are fighting all the subpoenas. These are not like impartial people. Look, the Democrats are trying to win 2020," Trump told reporters after saying in a tweet earlier in the day he would take the issue "to the US Supreme Court."

But constitutional scholars and Washington, DC, lawyers say Trump's legal ability to fend off demands from the House, where opposition Democrats control key committees, is weak. The president can only delay Congress's access by litigating in federal court, although that is a process that could take months.

US man rammed car into pedestrians thinking they were Muslim

Thirteen-year-old girl suffers brain trauma after war veteran 'targeted people' he thought were Muslim, authorities say.

A man in California deliberately ploughed his car into a group of eight pedestrians because he thought some of them were Muslim, local authorities have said.

Isaiah Joel Peoples, 34, faces eight counts of attempted murder for injuring eight people, including a 13-year-old girl, after he deliberately veered his car into the pedestrians.

According to the AP news agency, the teenage girl was the most seriously injured in the incident and is currently in a coma with severe brain trauma.

Three adults also remain in hospital with injuries that include broken limbs and fractures.

Trump heeds NRA, says he's pulling US out of Arms Trade Treaty

Trump tells gun lobby he intends to revoke status of US as a signatory of the treaty, which wasn't ratified by Senate.

US President Donald Trump announced on Friday at the National Rifle Association's (NRA) annual meeting that the United States will drop out of an international arms treaty signed in 2013 by then-President Barack Obama but opposed by the NRA and other conservative groups.

Trump told members of the gun lobby that he intends to revoke the status of the US as a signatory of the Arms Trade Treaty, which was never ratified by the US Senate.
***
The NRA has long opposed the treaty which regulates the $70bn business in conventional arms and seeks to keep weapons out of the hands of human rights abusers. The lobbying group argues it would undermine domestic gun rights, a view the Obama administration rejected.

Trump added that the United Nations will soon receive formal notice of the withdrawal.

Next Stop On The War Train - Iran, Venezuela, Or North Korea?

If you learn one rule about how governments function today, it should be that political leaders are usually puppets and the real decision makers are almost never out in the open. The question is, how does one know for certain that this is the case with a specific leader? His rhetoric might be compelling, he probably knows every buzzword to spark your interest, and he might even throw you some legislative scraps from the political table every once in a while to make you think that he's going to follow through on his campaign promises, but does he actually believe in the principles he originally championed?

The litmus test for any US president is to examine the type of people he invites into his house. Who does he surround himself with? The cabinet is the president's constant companion and decision making team. The cabinet is looking over his shoulder and influencing everything he does. If you want to find who is pulling the strings of a president, this is a good place to start.

Trump's tax bill allows twice as many companies to pay zero taxes

The tax plan introduced by the administration of US President Donald Trump has allowed twice as many companies to pay zero taxes, according to a recent report.

The report by the Center for Public Integrity revealed that under the Trump tax plan, which is officially known as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, corporate tax rates were lowered from 35 percent to 21 percent resulting in the number of companies paying no taxes to go from 30 to 60 in its first year.

The Washington, DC-based think-tank, the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP) found that the number of companies exempted from taxes was more than twice as many as ITEP found roughly, per year.

Many of the country's largest publicly-held corporations have reported that they owe absolutely nothing on the billions of dollars in profits they earned last year, it said.

Trump Eyes Major Nuclear Deal With Russia, China - Reports

The White House is in intense talks on options for the US president to pursue a deal building on the New START Treaty, which expires in 2021, officials have told CNN.

US President Donald Trump is eying a new potential signature foreign policy achievement: a grand nuclear deal with Russia and China, according to CNN.

No One Is Coming to Rescue You—Especially Not a Presidential Candidate

By Brittany Hunter

We are only a few months into 2019, and already the 2020 presidential election season is well underway. Each week, it seems that more candidates are entering the race, especially in the Democratic field. And as the country cycles through its political flavors of the week, social media has become overrun by passionate posts that read more like stump speeches in support of a given candidate.

Nearly every single person has an opinion about who this country should be supporting. And nearly every single one of them believes that their lives will be significantly better, or worse, based on who occupies the White House. But this gives politicians far too much power.

In order to truly better our lives, we need to rely less on political talking heads and more on ourselves. Only then can we begin to make a bigger difference and change the world...

The True Cost Of The Trump-Netanyahu Alliance

***
There may be major concessions demanded of the Israelis if the long-awaiting Trump peace plan actually is revealed in June, the latest of many deadlines. But that seems doubtful. Instead it would appear that, as Jewish Trump supporters frequently boast, there’s never been an American president so tightly tied to an Israeli prime minister, and vice versa. Netanyahu rode that bromance to electoral victory earlier this month, and Republicans are exploiting it to achieve the “Jexodus” of their political dreams.

Not so fast. I predict this is a short-term phenomenon, a sugar high before a sharp decline, which will put an even more serious strain on the strategic alliance between the U.S. and Israel. In his sycophantic adulation of Trump, Netanyahu scores a few real triumphs. But he is reaping a pyrrhic victory.
***
In my opinion, it’s no coincidence that Netanyahu’s approval rating in the U.S. mirrors Trump’s, which dropped to 39% after last week’s release of the redacted Mueller report.

The Pew poll also found that the public makes a distinction between the Palestinian people —
viewed positively by 46% — and its government, such as it is, with an approval rating of a dismal 19%.)

With his unprecedented fifth win and more than a decade in office, Netanyahu is the Israeli government.>>>

By Promoting Passover, Trump Promotes Destruction on the US

On April 19th, this past Friday, Donald Trump tweeted a Passover greeting to Jews celebrating Passover “in America, Israel and around the world.” Is this compatible with Trump’s alleged goal of making America great again?

Trump is largely ignorant of many of the teachings in the religion he claims for himself, Christianity, as well as of the teachings in the religion Christianity sprang out of, Judaism.

In Judaism, Jewish superiority is a consistent theme, along with the elevation of the
Jewish state of Israel “on high above all nations of the earth” (Deuteronomy 28:1). This desire in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament to have Israel superior over all of the Gentile nations on Earth is also a part of a Passover prayer that is said in synagogues and Jewish homes around the world. Trump should be aware of this anti-American prayer before he sends out his Passover greetings.

The Passover prayer is the Sh’foch Hamatcha.>>>

So Who Burned Down Notre Dame?

Firstly there was the sheer nastiness of the operation. You can forget French fairy stories about faulty wiring. There about as reliable as that claim about DC-10 engine cowling bits causing the Paris Concorde crash. I gather that privately the French are saying that it was arson and they’re right. The faulty wiring nonsense is strictly for the public and the credulous French media, who will swallow just about any old nonsense, as long as it’s marked ‘official’. They’re worse than the BBC over global warming.

The plan was clearly to burn Notre Dame to the ground, based no doubt on the theory that its structure was interlocking. It was, but the towers and side walls appear to have possessed more strength than anyone thought possible. The men who designed Notre Dame knew that they were doing.

Then you have the fact that Holy Mass was underway when the fire started. The Germans love nothing more than burning people to death inside churches>>>

Trump May Recognise West Bank as Israeli Land After Jerusalem & Golan – Analyst

The Israeli elections on 9 April resulted in the victory of Benjamin Netanyahu, who was officially appointed as the country's prime minister on 17 April. Speaking to Sputnik, Israeli publicist Avigdor Eskin shared his opinion on what to expect from the Netanyahu cabinet in the near future.

Avigdor Eskin, an Israeli political analyst and publicist who predicted Netanyahu's victory back in November 2018, believes that Washington and Tel Aviv will continue to strengthen Israel's positions in the region following the de facto recognition of Jerusalem on 14 May 2018 and Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights on 25 March 2019.

"I anticipate Israeli official recognition of towns and villages on the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) as a part of the state and I also anticipate US recognition. We will also see the attempts to negotiate with Gaza. Egypt will play an important role", the Israeli publicist foresees.

Deutsche Bank is giving Trump's financial records to New York prosecutors after congressional Democrats subpoenaed them amid claims Mueller saw president's tax returns

The German bank, which became a primary lender for Trump's company when other sources of credit were drying up, is in the process of handing over documents to New York Attorney General Letitia James, CNN reported.

State prosecutors sought documents after longtime Trump lawyer Michael Cohen testified that Trump inflated his net worth while seeking to purchase the Buffalo Bills NFL franchise in 2014.

PEPE ESCOBAR: War on Iran & Calling America’s Bluff

The Trump administration once again has graphically demonstrated that in the young, turbulent 21st century, “international law” and “national sovereignty” already belong to the Realm of the Walking Dead.

As if a deluge of sanctions against a great deal of the planet was not enough, the latest “offer you can’t refuse” conveyed by a gangster posing as diplomat, Consul Minimus Mike Pompeo, now essentially orders the whole planet to submit to the one and only arbiter of world trade: Washington.

11 April 2019: The West's irrational fear of Iran is a disaster waiting to happen

If the Trump regime miscalculates, the house can easily come crashing down on its head

While Western regimes craft a fresh humanitarian crisis in Venezuela, their corporate and state-owned media and corrupted think-tanks embody what Shakespeare's Lorenzo describes as "this muddy vesture of decay" – and, true to form, frustrate attempts to provide voice to their latest subaltern victims.

Increasingly vitriolic voices, from Paris to Washington, reveal exasperation and express a need to intimidate and justify the eviction of the many increasingly difficult tenants of the Fifth Estate.

Just as advanced capitalism has successfully transformed the first four estates into an almost homogeneous, postmodern utopia for well-heeled Wall Street and Ivory Tower dwellers – amid a deluge of conspiratorial narratives of existential threats – western regime-affiliated intellectual elites vigorously promote a "benign" monopoly in this lucrative piece of real estate.

Ethnocentric worldview

As in Palestine, excavation and construction can only begin with a purge of "inferior" races, religions and social classes, as well as other "malign" influences. After all, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reminds his European and North American allies, there is no place for the weak, who are destined for slaughter, while the strong survive.

Donald Trump has lashed out at The New York Times, Morning Joe, CNN, Democrats, and the EU on Twitter — as well as the social media platform itself — during a busy morning in which a new state visit to Britain was also confirmed.

As the president continues to gloat over the outcome of the Mueller report, Democrats are busy formulating their response. Mr Trump has claimed the report exonerates him, but Democrats see grounds for potential impeachment, with 2020 hopeful Elizabeth Warren the most vocal among a growing choir calling for that measure: “If any other human being in this country had done what’s documented in the Mueller report, they would be arrested and put in jail.”

Hillary, revitalized by Mueller's 'obstruction' theories, hypes 'roadmap' to impeachment

Hillary Clinton has blamed Justice Department rules for the Mueller report's failure to indict President Donald Trump, declaring the "roadmap" to an obstruction charge is there in plain sight, should Congress choose to pursue it.

"I think there is enough there that any other person who had engaged in those acts would certainly have been indicted," Clinton told an audience at the Time 100 summit, insisting the Mueller report, despite its failure to substantiate the criminal accusations leveled against the president, was merely "the end of the beginning" of what could be a beautiful impeachment – if Congress plays its cards right.
