WHAT REALLY HAPPENED | The History The US Government HOPES You Never Learn!

ANNOUNCEMENT! Try This Link for the live video stream.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship."

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the
beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200
years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage." -- Alexander Tyler

The Consumer Warning Network’s Angie Moreschi interviews Mr. Babcock in this radio podcast to learn more about his successful efforts to fight foreclosure.

If you are currently facing foreclosure here are some steps you can follow along with some templates for a legal request, a letter to your lender, and a motion to compel.

The truth is "hate speech" only to those who have something to hide

Israel's supporters constantly spin any criticism of Israel's actions as hate against the Jewish people. Indeed so desperate are Israel's supporters to dismiss criticism of Israel while being unable to refute the actual facts that they have taken to describing Jewish critics of Israel as "self-hating Jews."

Webmaster's Commentary:

I decided to relink this one because Israel's supporters are once again screaming "Anti-Semite" at every mention of the war crimes committed in Gaza.

This is, of course, silly. One cannot dismiss criticism of Israel's actions by claiming the critics hate Jews any more than one can dismiss criticism of Nazi Germany's actions by claiming the critics hate Germans. Only a compliant corporate media suggests that what is absurd in the case of Hitler somehow makes sense in the case of Olmert.

FLASHBACK - Definition of “Anti-Semitism” expanded to include one’s personal preferences

The Jewish campaign to relegate everything to the “anti-Semitic” category because they refuse to be criticized is becoming increasingly ludicrous and more dangerous to free thinking Americans. The Insolvency of the Fed

Since August 15, 1971 the US dollar has been an irredeemable paper currency. Every irredeemable paper currency in history has failed. Yet, the experiment of the US dollar and the rest of the fiat paper world continues.

During the current crisis, however, financial systems all over the world are increasingly struggling, and the end of the experiment seems closer. In fact, the Federal Reserve System has used up much of its "ammunition" for monetary interventions in an attempt to keep the experiment going, lowering its target interest rate almost to zero.

Former Gitmo guard 'ashamed' he once participated in detainee abuse

Breandon Neely, who was a guard at Guantanamo when it first opened in 2002, has recently come forward to dispute those claims.

Neely was honorably discharged from the military last year and now leads the Houston chapter of Iraq Veterans Against the War. He told MSNBC's Rachel Maddow on Tuesday, "We were just told from the git-go that these were the guys who planned 9/11. That these were the worst people in the world."

Neely went on to recount an incident which he has previously described in his testimony for the Guantánamo Testimonials Project of the University of California at Davis as "something that I am very ashamed of."

Webmaster's Commentary:

What puzzles me is that humankind has known, from the time of the inquisition, that torture doesn't get you the truth: it gets the person being tortured to admit to anything to get the torture to stop.

So what is the dynamic of what went on here? Simply put, people in power were able to sadistically injure and humiliate by proxy ,and smugly believed that they would never, ever have to face the consequences.

Every member of the Bush administration involved with ordering and approving torture should be at the Hague for war crimes trials.

However, that is just about as likely to happen as for pigs to fly.

But unless, and until, this happens, the United States will remain quite a different country from the country in which we grew up, one in which the use of torture as an instrument of interrogation is accepted, and has become the norm.

That moment, from the White House on down, when torture became "normalized was the moment this government lost any credentials as a moral leadership for either its citizens or the world.

And do you think for one moment the US government isn't going to do this to American citizens, naturalized or otherwise, if they think they can get away with it?!?

Better think again.

What Does Holocaust Denial Really Mean?

Are these revisionist contentions so odious as to cause those who believe them to be reviled, beaten, and imprisoned? More importantly, is it possible that revisionist contentions are true, or even partially true, and that they are despised because they contradict the story of the Holocaust, a story which has been elevated to the level of a religion in hundreds of films, memorials, museums, and docu-dramas?

Is it sacrilegious to ask, “If Hitler was intent on extermination, how did Elie Wiesel, his father, and two of his sisters survive the worst period of incarceration at Auschwitz?” Wiesel claims that people were thrown alive into burning pits, yet even the Israeli-trained guides at Auschwitz refute this claim.

Two British Writers Languish In Obscurity In A California Jail. Their Crime? Satire, Mockery, & Disbelief.

Homeless families face strict new rules

Less than two years after vowing to end homelessness in Massachusetts, the Patrick administration has proposed new regulations that it acknowledges could force hundreds of homeless families back on the street.

America can handle the coffins

The ban was imposed during the Persian Gulf War by President George H.W. Bush, who -- along with then-Defense Secretary Dick Cheney -- became convinced that if Americans saw photos and television footage of the caskets of dead servicemen and servicewomen being unloaded at Dover, it would undermine support for the war.

Greek police defuse bomb outside Citibank in Athens

Greek police defused an explosive device found in the trunk of a car parked outside Citibank's (C.N) headquarters in a northern Athens suburb early on Wednesday.

The incident follows a number of gun attacks on police by left-wing guerrillas in recent weeks, in a climate of tension and street protests sparked by the police shooting of a 15-year-old boy in December.

Police said the stolen car was parked in the courtyard of Citibank's offices in the suburb of Kifissia. Citibank has a network of 85 branches in Greece.

Webmaster's Commentary:

They are still trying to claim that the Greek violence is the result of the shooting of the 15 year old boy, but obviously from the bombing's intended target, this is about the economic decline, and will not go away soon. What is quite revealing is that this is already a shooting war.

Next Wave of Banking Crisis to come from Eastern Europe

European banks face an entirely new wave of losses in coming months not yet calculated in any government bank rescue aid to date. Unlike the losses of US banks which derive initially from their exposures to low-quality sub-prime real estate and other securitized lending, the problems of western European banks, most especially in Austria, Sweden and perhaps Switzerland arise from the massive volumes of loans they made during the 2002-2007 period of extreme low international interest rates to clients in eastern European countries.

G.M. To Cut 47,000 Jobs While Chrysler Will Dump 3,000 Positions

The two companies had until Tuesday to justify the multi-billion dollar bailouts being given to them in the U.S.

And late in the day, General Motors delivered the news that will make auto towns like Oshawa and St. Catharines cringe. The world's biggest car company says it will need between US$16.6 and $30 billion in federal aid to get back on all four wheels - and it will have to shed a startling 47,000 positions to do it. It will also close five plants but won't say which ones.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Now, back when the Executives from the Big Three went to Congress begging for money, they insisted that the "loans" would be necessary to keep from closing plants and cutting work force.

So here we are, billions later, and US factories are closing. GM workers might want to think about moving to Brazil where GM spent a billion of their bailout money on a factory down there, which is apparently doing quite well.

Cycling through History Recycling.

Given that circumstances repeat themselves it shouldn’t be hard to see that we are approaching one of those periods of ‘revolution’. In this particular instance; in this particular time there is a particular feature that is present which is going to be active more than at any time in the recorded past. It’s going to be happening everywhere at the same time. Nations and the minds of the population are all directly more aware of each other through the medium of international communications via news media and the internet. The mass media is a lie machine controlled by the interests of the few for the plundering of the many. That’s a given. The internet offers the possibility of a greater impartiality if you know where to look.

"Looking Ahead" or Overlooking Crimes Against Humanity

I am a little stunned. I have been watching the news and listening to all the chatter about the scandal surrounding Gov. Rod Blagojevich and the alleged impropriety of people like Bill Richardson and Tom Daschle.

Watching all this, I’ve been thinking, “Somewhere in Texas, former President George W. Bush is clearing brush in perfect peace.” Former Vice President Dick Cheney is likely out duck hunting in Wyoming, as if he has every right to be walking around free.

Like we are supposed to forget their crimes.

Prosecute Bush for war crimes

How Gerald Ford's Pardon of Nixon Enabled Bush's War Crimes.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Once Nixon knew he was doomed, he dumped Spiro Agnew and brought Ford in the be Vice President. The reason was simple. Among the items sought after in the break-in of the Democratic National Headquarters were photos taken in Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas on November 22nd, 1963 that showed three of the "tramps" clearly enough to identify two of them as E. Howard Hunt (the reason he led the break-in) and Frank Sturgis, both Nixon henchmen in 1963.
(The photos eventually did resurface in an expose published by the Liberty Lobby. Hunt sued and lost when witnesses were found that placed him in Dealey Plaza at the time.)

Remember that Nixon was a shoe-in for re-election against McGovern because of all the dirty tricks done by Segretti and his ilk at CREEP. Nobody could understand why the break-in had happened at all. A full investigation of the motive for the Watergate break-in would have unraveled the cover-up of the JFK assassination, which is why Nixon resigned rather than allow a Senate trial.

Gerald Ford had been on the Warren Commission that covered up the conspiracy and put the blame for the killing of JFK on the lone gunman, Oswald. So, prior to resigning, Nixon tossed Agnew and brought in Ford knowing that Ford, likely to be as threatened by exposure of the cover-up as anyone else, would work to protect the secret and by extension, Nixon.

Yes, there was probably an explicit understanding that Ford would pardon Nixon as the price for being made VP, then President. But Ford's pardon protected Ford as much as Nixon.

US commanders at odds over Iraq

United States Central Command (CENTCOM) chief General David Petraeus and Multinational Force Iraq (MNF-I) commander General Ray Odierno have submitted assessments of Iraq combat troop withdrawal plans to President Barack Obama based on the premise that his 16-month withdrawal plan would pose significantly greater risk to "security gains" than the 23-month plan they favor.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Given yesterday's revelation that some $50 billion of Iraq funds has gone missing, one has to wonder how much more loot will vanish in that extra 7 months.

Meanwhile, here are the facts.

The war in Iraq was started with three claims.

1. Iraq had banned weapons of mass destruction.

2. Revenge for 9-11.

3. Iraq was supporting Al Qaeda.

The results:

1. Iraq never had the banned weapons of mass destruction. Iraq was actually in compliance with United Nations resolutions (unlike Israel).

2. Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. Even President Bush admitted that.

3. Iraq was the only secular government in the region. Al Qaeda promotes theocratic rule. Iraq wanted nothing to do with Al Qaeda (not even the fake ones).

Therefore, the war in Iraq is already lost in the political sense. We cannot achieve any of the stated objectives.

So why are we staying even one more month, let alone 23?

Obama officials meet U.S. Jews to explain their Durban II policy

Officials from the Obama administration met with U.S. Jewish leaders on Monday to explain why the government has decided to participate in planning the controversial World Conference Against Racism, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported.

Jerusalem fears that the "Durban II" summit, set to be held in Geneva this April, will be used by Arab nations and others as a forum to criticize Israel as was its predecessor in 2001.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If Israel does not wish to be called racist, then it should stop being racist.

1. "There is a huge gap between us (Jews) and our enemies not just in ability but in morality, culture, sanctity of life, and conscience. They are our neighbors here, but it seems as if at a distance of a few hundred meters away, there are people who do not belong to our continent, to our world, but actually belong to a different galaxy." Israeli president Moshe Katsav. The Jerusalem Post, May 10, 2001

2. "The Palestinians are like crocodiles, the more you give them meat, they want more".... Ehud Barak, Prime Minister of Israel at the time - August 28, 2000. Reported in the Jerusalem Post August 30, 2000

3. " [The Palestinians are] beasts walking on two legs." Menahim Begin, speech to the Knesset, quoted in Amnon Kapeliouk, "Begin and the Beasts". New Statesman, 25 June 1982.

4. "The Palestinians" would be crushed like grasshoppers ... heads smashed against the boulders and walls." " Isreali Prime Minister (at the time) in a speech to Jewish settlers New York Times April 1, 1988

5. "When we have settled the land, all the Arabs will be able to do about it will be to scurry around like drugged cockroaches in a bottle." Raphael Eitan, Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defence Forces, New York Times, 14 April 1983.

6. "How can we return the occupied territories? There is nobody to return them to." Golda Maier, March 8, 1969.

7. "There was no such thing as Palestinians, they never existed." Golda Maier Israeli Prime Minister June 15, 1969

8. "The thesis that the danger of genocide was hanging over us in June 1967 and that Israel was fighting for its physical existence is only bluff, which was born and developed after the war." Israeli General Matityahu Peled, Ha'aretz, 19 March 1972.

9. David Ben Gurion (the first Israeli Prime Minister): "If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti - Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault ? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?" Quoted by Nahum Goldmann in Le Paraddoxe Juif (The Jewish Paradox), pp121.

10. Ben Gurion also warned in 1948 : "We must do everything to insure they ( the Palestinians) never do return." Assuring his fellow Zionists that Palestinians will never come back to their homes. "The old will die and the young will forget."

11. "We have to kill all the Palestinians unless they are resigned to live here as slaves." Chairman Heilbrun of the Committee for the Re-election of General Shlomo Lahat, the mayor of Tel Aviv, October 1983.

12. "Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don't worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it." - Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, October 3, 2001, to Shimon Peres, as reported on Kol Yisrael radio. (Certainly the FBI's cover-up of the Israeli spy ring/phone tap scandal suggests that Mr. Sharon may not have been joking.)

13. "We declare openly that the Arabs have no right to settle on even one centimeter of Eretz Israel... Force is all they do or ever will understand. We shall use the ultimate force until the Palestinians come crawling to us on all fours." Rafael Eitan, Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces - Gad Becker, Yediot Ahronot 13 April 1983, New York Times 14 April 1983.

14. "We must do everything to ensure they [the Palestinian refugees] never do return" David Ben-Gurion, in his diary, 18 July 1948, quoted in Michael Bar Zohar's Ben-Gurion: the Armed Prophet, Prentice-Hall, 1967, p. 157.

15. " ... we should prepare to go over to the offensive with the aim of smashing Lebanon, Trans-jordan and Syria... The weak point in the Arab coalition is Lebanon [for] the Moslem regime is artificial and easy to undermine. A Christian state should be established... When we smash the [Arab] Legions strength and bomb Amman, we will eliminate Transjordan, too, and then Syria will fall. If Egypt still dares to fight on, we shall bomb Port Said, Alexandria, and Cairo." " David Ben-Gurion, May 1948, to the General Staff. From Ben-Gurion, A Biography, by Michael Ben-Zohar, Delacorte, New York 1978.

16. "We must use terror, assassination, intimidation, land confiscation, and the cutting of all social services to rid the Galilee of its Arab population." Israel Koenig, "The Koenig Memorandum"

17. "Jewish villages were built in the place of Arab villages. You do not even know the names of these Arab villages, and I do not blame you because geography books no longer exist. Not only do the books not exist, the Arab villages are not there either. Nahlal arose in the place of Mahlul; Kibbutz Gvat in the place of Jibta; Kibbutz Sarid in the place of Huneifis; and Kefar Yehushua in the place of Tal al-Shuman. There is not a single place built in this country that did not have a former Arab population." Moshe Dayan, address to the Technion, Haifa, reported in Haaretz, April 4, 1969.

18. "We walked outside, Ben-Gurion accompanying us. Allon repeated his question, What is to be done with the Palestinian population?' Ben-Gurion waved his hand in a gesture which said 'Drive them out!'" Yitzhak Rabin, leaked censored version of Rabin memoirs, published in the New York Times, 23 October 1979.

19. Rabin's description of the conquest of Lydda, after the completion of Plan Dalet. "We shall reduce the Arab population to a community of woodcutters and waiters" Uri Lubrani, PM Ben-Gurion's special adviser on Arab Affairs, 1960. From "The Arabs in Israel" by Sabri Jiryas.

20. "There are some who believe that the non-Jewish population, even in a high percentage, within our borders will be more effectively under our surveillance; and there are some who believe the contrary, i.e., that it is easier to carry out surveillance over the activities of a neighbor than over those of a tenant. [I] tend to support the latter view and have an additional argument:...the need to sustain the character of the state which will henceforth be Jewish...with a non-Jewish minority limited to 15 percent. I had already reached this fundamental position as early as 1940 [and] it is entered in my diary." Joseph Weitz, head of the Jewish Agency's Colonization Department. From Israel: an Apartheid State by Uri Davis, p.5.

21. "Everybody has to move, run and grab as many hilltops as they can to enlarge the settlements because everything we take now will stay ours... Everything we don't grab will go to them." Ariel Sharon, Israeli Foreign Minister, addressing a meeting of militants from the extreme right-wing Tsomet Party, Agence France Presse, November 15, 1998.

22. "It is the duty of Israeli leaders to explain to public opinion, clearly and courageously, a certain number of facts that are forgotten with time. The first of these is that there is no Zionism, colonialization or Jewish State without the eviction of the Arabs and the expropriation of their lands." Yoram Bar Porath, Yediot Aahronot, of 14 July 1972.

23. "Spirit the penniless population across the frontier by denying it employment... Both the process of expropriation and the removal of the poor must be carried out discreetly and circumspectly." Theodore Herzl, founder of the World Zionist Organization, speaking of the Arabs of Palestine,Complete Diaries, June 12, 1895 entry.

24. "One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail." -- Rabbi Yaacov Perrin, Feb. 27, 1994 [Source: N.Y. Times, Feb. 28, 1994, p. 1]

25. "We Jews, we are the destroyers and will remain the destroyers. Nothing you can do will meet our demands and needs. We will forever destroy because we want a world of our own." (You Gentiles, by Jewish Author Maurice Samuels, p. 155).

26. "We will have a world government whether you like it or not. The only question is whether that government will be achieved by conquest or consent." (Jewish Banker Paul Warburg, February 17, 1950, as he testified before the U.S. Senate).

27. "We will establish ourselves in Palestine whether you like it or not...You can hasten our arrival or you can equally retard it. It is however better for you to help us so as to avoid our constructive powers being turned into a destructive power which will overthrow the world." (Chaim Weizmann, Published in "Judische Rundschau," No. 4, 1920)

'Freakonomics' author wins defamation suit

Chicago Sun Times February 18, 2009 FRANK MAIN Crime Reporter

Freakonomics author Steven Levitt will not have to pay a dime to fellow economist John Lott after a federal appeals court ruled last week that the best-selling book did not defame Lott.

Lott, a former University of Chicago visiting professor, sued Levitt in 2006.

Lott is the author of More Guns, Less Crime, which argues that allowing people to carry concealed weapons reduces crime. Lott claimed Freakonomics defamed him with this passage: "When other scholars have tried to replicate [Lott's] results, they found that right-to-carry laws simply don't bring down crime."

Can I get a witless?

Steele is on a roll, here. Last weekend, he stymied George Stephanopoulos (okay, that’s not too hard to do) by declaring that the stimulus package doesn’t create “jobs,” only “work.”

Steele: “What this administration is talking about is making work. It is creating work.”

Stephanopoulos: “But that’s a job.”

Steele: “No, it’s not a job. A job is something that a business owner creates. It’s going to be long term…”

Stephanopoulos: “So a job doesn’t count if it’s a government job?”

Without his head actually exploding, Steele went on to explain, “These road projects that we’re talking about have an end point. – If you’ve got a government contract that is a fixed period of time, it goes away. The work may go away.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

This article is obviously intended to trick Americans into taking their anger out on each other, Republican versus Democrat, rather than uniting against the real cause of our woes, the US Government.

But Steele has a point and it is the same one I have been saying for weeks now. 6 months from now when the stimulus money is spent and the holes in the roads are filled in these same people will be out of work again.

There is only one way for an economy to create permanent long term employment and that is by reviving manufacturing inside the US to make products people in other nations will buy to offset the products we buy from them.

In order to do that we need to spend what money we have left development new technologies that will lead to new industries, and instead of giving tax credits to corporations to make it easier to send jobs to other countries we need to use the tax credits to bring work back into the United States.

In short we have to match the same tax to benefits ratio of other industrialized nations and that means we have to stop spending so much of our budgets on killing brown people in other countries.

Dow Plumbs the Depths of Last Fall

The New York Times Feb 17, 2009 Jack Healy - Matthew Saltmarsh - Eric Dash

Worries about the deteriorating financial situation in countries like Romania and Hungary led to a huge sell-off on Tuesday that began overseas and crashed ashore on Wall Street.

The losses on Wall Street were part of a global wave of selling that dragged down stock markets from Tokyo to London and Frankfurt to Brazil, highlighting fears about how banks, automakers — entire countries — will fare in a deepening global downturn.

The broader Standard & Poor’s 500-stock index slid 37.67 points, or 4.6 percent, to 789.17, dropping below what analysts said was an important trading threshold of 800.
