Watch US Navy Stealth Destroyer Conduct First Missile Test

After years of delays, the US Navy received its next-generation guided-missile stealth destroyer back in April - the only problem was that the delivery was seven years late!

Now the Navy is rushing to get the USS Zumwalt (DDG-1000) combat-ready, with the first missile test conducted last Tuesday (Oct. 13) at the Point Mugu sea test range off the coast of California, reported USNI News.

Readers may recall, the Zumwalt program has faced numerous setbacks, including significant delays with the ship's main guns, engine troubles, and significant cost overruns.

USNI said the destroyer conducted the MK 57 Vertical Launching System's first live test, firing a Standard Missile-2. The missile is the cornerstone of the destroyer's layered defense, with an approximate range of 90 nautical miles.

Chanting “Freedom!” the angry crowds marched through the city streets on Friday night, with some hurling bottles, smoke bombs and other projectiles at the officers. Others attempted to erect barricades using garbage containers and set some of them on fire. Police deployed tear gas as they tried to disperse the rioters.

Videos posted on social media show groups of people attacking police vehicles, forcing the officers to leave the scene.

Greenpeace condemns Japanese plans to release Fukushima reactor water into the sea, claims it could damage human DNA

Greenpeace has warned that radioactive water from Japan's crippled Fukushima nuclear plant contains matter that could damage human DNA if discharged into the ocean, as reportedly planned.

Contaminated water from the now-defunct Fukushima nuclear plant contains a radioactive substance which is harmful to human DNA, a Greenpeace report claims. The paper was released on Friday morning and addressed reports that Japan will discharge 1.23 million tons of water into the Pacific Ocean.

The publication titled 'Stemming the tide 2020: The reality of the Fukushima radioactive water crisis' claims that the supposedly treated water still contains "dangerous levels of carbon-14," a radioactive substance that has the "potential to damage human DNA."

Since the earthquake, tsunami and resultant nuclear catastrophe in 2011, Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco) has struggled to manage the buildup of contaminated liquid at the disaster site.

He stressed, however, that "the purchase and planned check-ups of the air defence systems do not mean that the country is alienating itself from NATO".

Australian special forces allegedly EXECUTED hog-tied Afghan prisoner because there was no space for him in helicopter

Australian special forces have been accused of killing an unarmed, bound prisoner in cold blood, as a four-year probe into alleged war crimes committed by Aussie troops in Afghanistan nears its end.

A US Marine helicopter crew chief told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) that a group of Australian soldiers shot and killed an Afghan prisoner as they were preparing to be airlifted after a raid.

According to the marine, identified only as Josh, the Aussie commandos radioed his helicopter to tell them they needed transportation for seven prisoners captured during the operation.

“And you just heard this silence, and then we heard a pop. And then they said, ‘OK, we have six prisoners’,” Josh told the Australian outlet.

The US marine said it was the first time he had seen something he couldn’t “morally justify,” as the prisoner had already been detained and posed no threat to the Aussie forces.

Alaska senator Lisa Murkowski announces she WILL vote for Amy Coney Barrett in a decision that helps her path to the Supreme Court - after initially objecting to the process happening so close to the election

One of two Republican senators who had opposed the pre-election confirmation of President Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, said on Saturday she would vote to confirm Barrett, effectively clearing the way for Barrett's appointment.

Speaking on the floor of the U.S. Senate, Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska reiterated her opposition to the rushed confirmation process, which will culminate in a final vote on Monday, just over a week from Election Day.

'The timing of this confirmation that we have before us will serve to reinforce the public perception about political influence on the court,' she said.

The Democratic candidate vowed to 'take back our democracy' and insisted he would protect Pennsylvania jobs by creating 'millions' of green energy jobs, as he told supporters the election could be won or lost by the state.

Biden made his first of two stops in his native state Saturday at Bucks County Community College, in Bucks County, Bristol, as the two hopefuls ramp up their campaign trail with less than two weeks to go until the election.

Texas Supreme Court stays order blocking limits on ballot drop-off sites

The Texas Supreme Court on Saturday temporarily stayed an order by the lower court that blocked Gov. Greg Abbott's limits on drop-off locations for mail-in ballots.

Why it matters: The move means voters will continue to be restricted to a single drop-off location per county for now. The state's Supreme Court gave both sides until Monday at 5 p.m. CDT to file responses as it considers whether to take up the issue. By then, there will be just over one week until the election.

Catch-up quick: The Third District Court of Appeals on Friday upheld a ruling by a state judge that blocked Abbott's (R) Oct. 1 proclamation restricting voters to one location for each county to drop off absentee ballots in the general election.

It Looks Like Russia’s Nuclear-Powered Cruise Missile Test Program Is Back In Business

Recent satellite imagery suggests that Russia may be working to resume testing of its 9M730 Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile program in Novaya Zemlya, an archipelago above the Arctic Circle. This highly controversial missile, which is codenamed SSC-X-9 Skyfall by NATO, has suffered a number of mishaps during development work in the past, including a deadly explosion last year.

CNN was first to report that work might have resumed at the test site, drawing upon satellite images from Planet Labs that had been analyzed by researchers Michael Duitsman and Jeffrey Lewis at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Two U.S. officials also told CNN that they were aware that Russia “has been preparing to test missiles as part of its advanced weapons program.”

Escobar: Make America Jeffersonian Again

The whole planet has every reason to be terminally puzzled at how all those lofty Enlightenment ideals Thomas Jefferson embedded in the 1776 Declaration of Independence ended up with... Trump vs. Biden.

Jefferson borrowed freely from Locke, Rousseau, Hume to come up with an eminently quotable Greatest Hits, featuring “self-evident” truths such as “all men are created equal”, “unalienable rights”, and that searing “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

Well, Baudrillard would have dubbed the exercise a mere simulacrum, because in real life none of this uplifting rhetoric applied to Native Americans and enslaved Africans.

Still, there’s something endlessly fascinating about these “self-evident truths”. They actually radiated like Spinoza axioms, spawning abstract truths that can be extrapolated at will. Jefferson’s “self-evident truths” ended up creating the whole, massive structure of what we define as “Western liberal democracy”.

What 'The Great Reset' Architects Don't Want You To Understand About Economics

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Vice President of the World Bank Carmen Reinhardt recently warned on October 15 that a new financial disaster looms ominously over the horizon with a vast sovereign default and a corporate debt default. Just in the past 6 months of bailouts unleashed by the blowout of the system induced by the Coronavirus lockdown, Reinhardt noted that the U.S. Federal Reserve created $3.4 Trillion out of thin air while it took 40 years to create $14 Trillion. Meanwhile panicking economists are screaming in tandem that banks across Trans Atlantic must unleash ever more hyperinflationary quantitative easing which threatens to turn our money into toilet paper while at the same time acquiescing to infinite lockdowns in response to a disease which has the fatality levels of a common flu.

As Their Black Golems Turn On Them, Jews Now Insist That Calling Them ‘White’ Is A ‘Racial Slur’

Now that Jews have gained the full benefits and privileges from passing as ‘White’ people and ‘integrating’ into White America, — while at the same time fomenting racial tension between White people and Blacks — they are now distancing themselves from any claims that they are ‘White’, an identity that they know very well has now become a liability for Jews in America:

Are Jews white? No, said the [Jewish] editor-in-chief of The Algemeiner during a Wednesday appearance on i24 News, and the false claim that they are is a “slur” that must be refuted.

“In the language of wokeness,” Dovid Efune told “Global Eye” host Natasha Kirtchuk, “‘whiteness’ isn’t just a description of the lowest rung on the ladder of victimhood — it’s a pejorative, it’s an accusation. It refers to an oppressor, a ruling class…an occupier or a colonialist.”

The fall season for those with teenagers exploring college options can be one filled with anxiety and uncertainty in more stable times. This is anything but a stable time. We have college tuition spiraling out of control for well over two decades while a pandemic forced students to learn online away from carefully manicured campuses. How do you decide on which college to attend if you are unable to visit the campus, explore the classes, or experience what has been so painstakingly packaged to embody the college going years? That is the question millions of families are grappling with in the middle of all the other questions the novel coronavirus has tossed at us. Colleges are having to face an existential challenge in what they truly believe in – do they want to educate our future or serve only as a finishing school for the affluent in our society?

In March, it was just a three-week lockdown, to flatten the curve so as not to overwhelm the NHS. The narrative has quickly evolved. It has progressed from what seemed a reasonable idea of keeping NHS bed space free based on the completely false Neil Fergusson prediction that hospitals would be overwhelmed by patients suffering from COVID19.

This never happened. Many weeks passed where face masks were not needed and then suddenly in July, long after the majority of supposed COVID19 deaths had occurred, face masks were made compulsory.

Indeed, the UK government advice from the likes of Chris Whitty and the World Health Organisation was that face masks were not effective in stopping the spread of COVID19 or in contracting it; science does not change that quick – anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar.

The result is that we have now fallen deep into a Covidian Cult, a totalitarian psychotic narrative that has little connection to reality or to the facts.

“Your papers, please.” This is a chilling breakdown of personal data privacy, giving the police unprecedented and sweeping access to health data across the UK. This is also happening in the U.S. with Google and Oracle’s tracking vaccine recipients.

The total breakdown of personal data privacy is almost complete. Your most private and intimate details are shared among government entities, including police, as well as with Big Tech companies. This is how the scientific dictatorship of Technocracy will control every citizen, and mostly via AI algorithms. ? TN Editor

British police forces have been granted access to details of people who have been told to self-isolate under the government’s ‘test and trace’ system, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) said late on Saturday.

This is exhausting. Do I really need to type this bullshit out?

Fine. Okay. Here we go again:

At a press conference with Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe and FBI Director Christopher Wray it was announced that Iran and Russia have separately obtained some voter registration information, and that Iran has been using its information to send bizarre threatening emails to Democratic voters with the goal of swaying the election.

As usual, no evidence of these allegations has been provided. Democrats are saying this completely unsubstantiated claim proves the Iranians want to help Trump, Republicans are saying it proves they’re trying to help Biden. Both are ridiculous.

On October 22, 2010, WikiLeaks published the Iraq War Logs, a colossal compendium of nearly 400,000 classified U.S. Army field reports revealing what founder Julian Assange called “intimate details” of the war—including war crimes and other serious human rights abuses perpetrated by American and coalition troops, private contractors, and Iraqi government and paramilitary forces.

It was the largest leak in U.S. military history and a stunned world demanded justice. However, in the decade since then, only the whistleblowers who revealed the crimes detailed in the logs were ever seriously punished, while the architects and the perpetrators of the atrocities continue to enjoy impunity.

In June 2018, President Donald Trump and then–Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin broke ground on the outskirts of Milwaukee for what was supposed to be a $10 billion, 20 million-square-foot factory for Taiwanese tech giant Foxconn.

It was going to be “the eighth wonder of the world,” Trump said, proof that he was “reclaiming our country’s proud manufacturing legacy”—even if the project was dependent on $3 billion in subsidies from the state of Wisconsin, one of the largest corporate handouts in American history.

In a blow to privacy that extends the government’s authority to create a web of surveillance, the Virginia Supreme Court has ruled that state and local police are free to use Automated License Plate Readers (ALPRs) to collect data about the travel and movement of persons throughout the state. Denouncing the fact that Americans cannot even drive their cars without being tracked by the government, The Rutherford Institute had asked the Court to rule in Fairfax County Police Department v. Neal that the use of ALPRs violated a Virginia law restricting government collection of personal information. Mounted next to traffic lights or on police cars, ALPRs photograph over 1,800 license tag numbers per minute, take a picture of every passing license tag number and store the tag number and the date, time, and location of the picture in a searchable database.

UNCOVERED: How Joe Biden Got Millions In Foreign Bribes

Biden's oil stance jars Democrats in tough races

Joe Biden's vow to phase out the oil industry at Thursday's debate creates a problem for Democratic candidates in red-leaning states and swing House districts as it gives Republicans an opening to tie them to their party’s left wing.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said in April of last year that he wanted to make the 2020 election “a referendum on socialism.”

That strategy ran into a big problem when Democrats nominated Biden, a candidate who developed a reputation as a moderate during his decades in Washington, for president.

Now Biden’s blunt affirmation that “yes” he “would transition” when asked by President Trump on Thursday whether he would “close down the oil industry,” gives Republican candidates ammo.

Turkey’s Relationship with ISIS Proves It Is Deserting Its European Allies

ISIS was so successful in 2014 in part because President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an of Turkey is a vocal supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood. Any distance Erdo?an has placed between himself and ISIS is attributable to pressure from Russia, the US, and Europe, not to his rejection of the group’s Islamist ideology.

In view of Turkey’s increasingly divisive and destabilizing influence in the Middle East, the region’s biggest concern for the West could be President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an’s burgeoning Islamist tendencies. In order to understand the Turkish role in the threat of ISIS, borne from the Muslim Brotherhood, it is necessary to rewind six years.

‘Who said she had our vote?’ Liberals OUTRAGED that undecided black voters won’t automatically back Kamala Harris

Undecided black voters shouldn’t examine vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris’ record, and shouldn’t be given airtime if they don’t back Joe Biden – this appears to be the liberal consensus in comments on a recent MSNBC clip.

When MSNBC’s Chris Jansing sat down with three undecided black women voters on Friday, they told her that neither President Donald Trump nor Biden had made a convincing enough case for their vote. After they took issue with Biden’s sponsorship of a controversial crime bill in 1994, Jansing asked whether the presence of Harris on Biden’s ticket swayed them at all.

Barrett Supreme Court Confirmation to Edge Closer With Sunday Vote

The Republican-controlled U.S. Senate on Sunday plans to move closer toward a final confirmation vote on President Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, on Monday, just over a week before Election Day.

With Republicans controlling the chamber 53-47 and no indication of an internal revolt against the conservative appeals court judge replacing liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Barrett looks almost certain to take up a lifetime appointment on the bench over universal Democratic opposition.

One of two Republican senators who had opposed the rushed confirmation process, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, said on Saturday that she would nevertheless vote to confirm Barrett.

"I have no doubt about her capability to do the job and to do it well," she said.
