"The executive power in our government is not the only, perhaps not even the principal, object of my solicitude. The tyranny of the legislature is really the danger most to be feared, and will continue to be so for many years to come. The tyranny of the executive power will come in its turn, but at a more distant period." -- Thomas Jefferson, Democracy in America

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, a Democrat, exploded during a press conference on Friday after he was asked why local officials were trying to hide the fact that a teenager who was arrested for allegedly plotting school shootings was transgender.

The thwarted shooter, an 18-year-old woman from Rockville who identifies as a man, was arrested on Wednesday by the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD), the county said in a news release, adding that the FBI notified the MCPD about a 129-page “manifesto” in which the teenager wrote about committing a school shooting, contemplated targeting an elementary school, and more.

“What is the reluctance of the county to admit that this individual was transgender?” an individual asked Elrich at the press conference. “This is the fourth time that we’ve seen this happen very recently. And right here I hear all of our leadership saying to us today, and what we do in journalism here, what we try not do is bury the lede. Why am I hearing about this from the New York Post?”

This week, the “hush money” criminal trial against Donald Trump began in New York. Americans were shocked to learn that the judge—who has donated to Democrats—is demanding Trump appear in court every day, for as long as the trial continues.

Many believe this is an unveiled attempt at taking him away from the campaign trail. Most Americans believe these trials are merely about stopping Trump from winning reelection.

Trump complied with this seemingly biased judge, arriving in the city to attend the trial. After the hearing, he made a visit to a certain bodega uptown. New Yorkers were on hand to “greet” the former president. And what they did even had Trump shocked.

From The Post Millennial:
President Donald Trump received a hero’s welcome in New York City on Tuesday as he went uptown to Harlem to visit the bodega of Jose Alba. Alba had faced charges from New York DA Alvin Bragg after acting in self-defense to thwart a violent robbery in his corner store.

Trump spoke to the crowds thronging to see him as Secret Service agents tried to keep space between the president and New Yorkers. The crowds chanted “We love Trump!”

The final life sentences were handed down Wednesday in the 2016 beating and burning death of an 83-year-old woman at her Georgia home.

Justin Grady, 40, and Cortavious Heard, 20, were denied the possibility of parole for their role in the brutal murder of Dorothy “Dot” Dow, a grandmother whose family operated a blueberry farm in north Meriwether County. Grady and Heard were former seasonal employees at the farm, which is about 50 miles southwest of Atlanta.

Australia’s Federal Communications Minister Michelle Rowland has urged citizens to report content posted on social sites to what’s known as the country’s “chief censor,” the eSafety commissioner.

Appearing on the ABC Radio Sydney Breakfast, Rowland explained to host Craig Reucassel what the current government thinks should be done about “misinformation.”

Often-repeated assertions were heard that there is dangerous misinformation on social media along with exposure to “reactions and rumors” that traumatize users – because, for example, they are able to view breaking news videos “with no censorship.”

Max Azzarello died late on Friday night at about 10:30 pm, only hours after he set himself on fire in the protest area near the courthouse in lower Manhattan where President Donald Trump has been facing trial.

Azzarello stood in the protest area with a sign that read "Trump is with Biden and they're about to fascist coup us." Prior to setting himself ablaze, he posted a video to Instagram in which he said "Start a fucking revolution you've got nothing to lose." He was singing "start a f*cking revolution" as he went about his deadly task.

The 37-year-old Florida man had pamphlets which surrounded him as he burned. The pages included a link to a Substack newsletter where more of his writings could be found. He left behind a manifesto where he criticized liberals, conservatives, media, and the collapse of the American Dream.

The report comes a month after the Texas Department of State Health Services confirmed the first human case of H5N1.

During the press briefing in Geneva, Wenqing Zhang, WHO’s head of the global influenza program, said that H5N1 has been detected in raw milk from infected mammals.

The United States is facing an unprecedented financial crisis. As many as 50 million Americans have stopped paying their creditors, causing a massive disruption in the country's credit system. This development has sent shockwaves throughout the economy, with lenders trying to minimize the damage while consumers struggle to manage their increasing debts. The American economy has faced many challenges recently, but none are as dangerous and pervasive as the credit crisis. With over 50 million Americans ceasing payments to creditors, the situation has escalated beyond warning signs to a full-blown economic emergency.  This is why people are falling behind on payments, and now the consequences of increased consumer debt begins.

Japan has just issued an urgent red alert after a major study concluded that Covid mRNA shots cause cancer.

In a sweeping comprehensive study, Japan’s most prominent scientists found that deadly cancers are being “triggered” by the Covid injections to form and rapidly spread.

The researchers found that just one injection is enough to trigger a deadly “turbo cancer” in the recipient.

The alarming findings have led to the Covid mRNA injections being officially labeled as a “class one carcinogen” by the Japanese government.

An article published by world-renowned Australian medical practitioner Professor Ian Brighthope highlights the same Japanese study.

Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over former President Donald Trump's business records case, must recuse himself, as his "disqualification is mandatory under New York law," because of his daughter's political fundraising activities, lawyer David Schoen, who represented Trump in his second impeachment trial, told Newsmax.

"This judge has no interest in being fair," Schoen told "Eric Bolling: The Balance." "The American Bar Association put out a thing last week or so, saying that the lawyers should be standing up for these judges. I don't have an interest in standing up for a judge who shouldn't be on a case."

Schoen said Merchan's disqualification is mandatory under New York law 100.3 e(1)d(iii), which states "a judge shall disqualify himself or herself in a proceeding in which the judge's impartiality might reasonably be questioned, including but not limited to instances where the judge knows that the judge or the judge's spouse, or a person known by the judge to be within the sixth degree of relationship to either of them, or the spouse of such a person has an interest that could be substantially affected by the proceeding."

In an extraordinarily rare move, Democrats came to the rescue on Friday to advance a group of four bills to offer $95 billion in aid to U.S. allies around the world.

Some 165 Democrats voted with 151 Republicans to pass a rule and begin debate on the $95 billion funding package for Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan. There were 55 Republicans who opposed the rule.

Conservative hardliners have taken to paralyzing House business by opposing the historically mundane procedural rule vote this Congress. They've thwarted Speaker Mike Johnson's agenda seven times with the tactic.

A huge explosion has been reported in Baghdad after an 'airstrike' hit a pro-Iranian military base.

One person is reported dead and eight others are said to be injured after the explosion hit the base at Calso, where former pro-Iranian paramilitary group Hashed al-Shaabi - also known as the Popular Mobilisation Forces - is stationed.

In a statement, Hashed al-Shaabi confirmed the attack, near the town of Iskandariya which is around 30 miles south of Baghdad, had inflicted material losses and casualties, without specifying the number of wounded.

Sources would not identify who was responsible for the attack, or say whether it had been a drone strike.

President Joe Biden’s effort to get on the general election ballot in Ohio remains in limbo as state officials have rejected a Democrat proposal to circumvent a looming certification deadline that falls before President Biden officially becomes the party’s presidential nominee.

According to correspondence between Ohio officials and Democratic Party representatives that was viewed by The Epoch Times, state officials have rejected a Democrat proposal to submit a “provisional certification” of President Biden’s nomination before an Aug. 7 deadline to register for the Ohio ballot and then later supply the formal certification documents once his nomination becomes official at the Democratic National Convention on Aug. 19.

It was recently reported that Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose warned Ohio Democrats that state law stipulates the Aug. 7 deadline for certifying the Democrat party’s presidential nominee to the secretary of state’s office but that President Biden’s nomination wouldn’t be official until about a week later, and therefore both he and Vice President Kamala Harris risk not being able to appear on the November ballot.

My name is Max Azzarello, and I am an investigative researcher who has set himself on fire outside of the Trump trial in Manhattan.

This extreme act of protest is to draw attention to an urgent and important discovery:

We are victims of a totalitarian con, and our own government (along with many of their allies) is about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup.

These claims sound like fantastical conspiracy theory, but they are not. They are proof of conspiracy. If you investigate this mountain of research, you will prove them too. If you learn a great deal about Ponzi schemes, you will discover that our life is a lie. If you follow this story and the links below, you will discover the rotten truth of ‘post-truth America’. You will learn the scariest and stupidest story in world history. And you will realize that we are all in a desperate state of emergency that requires your action.

To my friends and family, witnesses and first responders, I deeply apologize for inflicting this pain upon you. But I assure you it is a drop in the bucket compared to what our government intends to inflict.

Because these words are true, this is an act of revolution.

Earlier this week, a New York Times/Siena poll found that more than half of voters believe Joe Biden’s economy is “poor,” and a mere “4 percent” said that things are “excellent.” (If you are in this 4 percent, please contact us so we can interview you and ask you how you drew that conclusion... and where you procure your hallucinogens.)

Equally important: only 25 percent of respondents said that Joe Biden’s America is on the right track vs. 64 percent who said “wrong direction” when asked by the pollsters.

So, we have a consensus. The country is not moving in the right direction, and the economy is a major a factor. What’s more, as those of you who have kept up with the Breitbart Business Digest this week know, inflation is actually going up.

...But the Democrats Hate "Bad Orange Man" Even More

Yet, the conversation in the media this week – new, legacy, and online – was not focused around Joe Biden and Bidenomics. Instead, we were treated to wall-to-wall coverage of he who is known as “The Bad Orange Man.”

In what seems rather true to life, lesbian and former United States Women's National Soccer Team player Megan Rapinoe has announced her company will produce a series about lesbians who fall in love while playing on the same women's national soccer team.

Based on the 2023 book "Cleat Cute," Rapinoe and her partner, Sue Bird — former WNBA player — will produce a series through their production company called A Touch More.

According to Good Reads, the source material is based on a female soccer player on the U.S. team who is injured and faces being replaced by a younger player. They become "friends with benefits," and one girl seems to have more romantic feelings than the other.

On Thursday, Argentina formally sought to become a partner of NATO, paving the stage for increased political and security cooperation at a time when President Javier Milei’s administration seeks to strengthen ties with Western nations and draw in investments.

The proposal was made as visiting Argentine Defense Minister Luis Petri and NATO Deputy General Secretary Mircea Geoana discussed regional security issues in Brussels.

Geoana expressed his approval of Argentina’s application to join NATO as an approved partner.

According to the Argentinian president, Argentina could soon have access to cutting-edge technology, security measures, and training that it was not previously able to obtain.

“Argentina plays an important role in Latin America,” Geoana said at the NATO HQ. “Closer political and practical cooperation could benefit us both.”

Polish territory was suggested by a German researcher as a likely venue for this brazen proposal amid Warsaw's over-the-top anti-Russia rhetoric. Poland has been stocking up on weapons, with the country’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk going so far as to say that Poland was in a “pre-war state” with Russia.

NATO allies should use anti-aircraft systems to shoot down Russian missiles over Ukraine from the territory of Poland, Nico Lange, senior researcher at the Munich Security Conference, stated in an interview with Tagesschau.

As Ukraine flounders on the battlefield amid manpower and hardware losses in the face of Russia's steady advance, Lange insisted:

From now on, partners should use the numerous 'Patriot' systems on our eastern borders to shoot down all Russian missiles and drones that they have within range over Ukraine," referencing primarily the alliance’s air defense systems in eastern Poland.
