So much for the "coup in China" and "Xi is missing" rumor mill of the past week, which at one point saw Chinese President Xi Jinping's name trending high on Twitter...

"Chinese President Xi Jinping visited an exhibition in Beijing on Tuesday, according to state television, in his first public appearance since returning to China from an official trip to Central Asia in mid-September – dispelling unverified rumours that he was under house arrest."

He had arrived in Samarkand, Uzbekistan on September 15 - and attended the days-long Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit - where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, among others.

Norway has displaced Russia as Europe's top natural gas supplier as energy supply chains are rejiggered. According to Daily Mail, being the biggest supplier to the energy-stricken continent comes with risks, as the Scandinavian country's oil and gas rigs in the North Sea have been buzzed by mysterious drones.

The country's Petroleum Safety Authority warned these mysterious drones could unleash "deliberate attacks" on critical energy infrastructure and or even smash into a helicopter on an offshore oil rig to wreak havoc.

Energy minister Terje Aasland explained the government is "increasing security at infrastructure sites, land terminals and platforms on the Norwegian continental shelf."

Drones have buzzed at least six of Norwegian energy giant Equinor's offshore platforms, coming within the security perimeter of 500 meters. One drone flew within 50 meters of the Heidrun platform in the Norwegian Sea. The company notified authorities of drone sightings.

"The Scandinavian country has a vast network of pipelines linking it to the continent, which experts have said are at risk of sabotage," Daily Mail said.

European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen on Wednesday touted that newly prepared EU sanctions will "make the Kremlin pay" for conducting its "sham" referendums in occupied Ukraine. Russian media the evening prior declared a sweep in favor of four regions joining the Russian Federation - including Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia. President Putin is expected to announce their integration into Russia in a Friday speech.

"We do not accept the sham referenda and any kind of annexation in Ukraine, and we are determined to make the Kremlin pay for this further escalation," von der Leyen told a scheduled press briefing in Brussels.

She announced a proposed eighth round of sanctions in a package that includes an expanded ban on Russian products and key technology, particularly out of Russia's aviation, electronics, and chemical products sectors. The new package when implemented is "expected to deprive Moscow of an additional 7 billion euros ($6.7 billion) in revenues," according to the EC chief's announcement.

President Biden's latest gaffe - no not the pedophile one -  was quite the doozy.

While reading remarks during a White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health, Biden asked if the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) was in attendance.

Walorski was tragically killed in a car crash last month.

"I want to thank all of you here, including bipartisan elected officials like Rep. McGovern, Sen. Braun, Sen. Booker, Rep. — Jackie, are you here?" Biden said. "Where's Jackie? I thought she was going to be here — to help make this a reality."

President Biden's reckless draining of the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve is nothing more than an election-year gimmick akin to using a 'credit card' to buy votes, according to Tim Stewart, president of the US Oil and Gas Association.

According to data from the Department of Energy, stocks of crude oil in the SPR hit their lowest levels since 1984 for the week ending Sept. 16.

An FBI whistleblower submitted a complaint to the Office of Special Counsel alleging that the federal agency and Department of Justice (DoJ) have violated constitutional rights of Jan. 6 defendants by misusing SWAT teams to make misdemeanor arrests.

Special Agent Stephen M. Friend informed the US Office of Special Counsel, a permanent independent federal investigative and prosecutorial agency, about alleged violations by the bureau and DoJ in a whistleblower complaint obtained by US media outlet Just the News earlier this week. Friend works for the FBI in Florida and serves as a SWAT team member.

“I believed the investigations were inconsistent with FBI procedure and resulted in the violation of citizens’ Sixth and Eighth Amendment rights,” Friend wrote. “I added that many of my colleagues expressed similar concerns to me but had not vocalized their objections to FBI Executive Management.”

In particular, Friend cited an inappropriate use of SWAT teams to arrest subjects for misdemeanor offenses related to the January 6 protests in DC. According to the complaint, the agent suggested alternatives such as “the issuance of a court summons or utilizing surveillance groups to determine an optimal, safe time for a local sheriff deputy to contact the subjects and advise them about the existence of the arrest warrant.”

Nonetheless, one of Friend’s bosses told him that “FBI executive management considered all potential alternatives and determined the SWAT takedown was the appropriate course of action.”

White House officials are weighing the possible departure of Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen after the November elections as part of a Cabinet shake-up, according to a report.

The decision is not final and is expected to hinge on the outcome of the midterm elections, sources familiar with the matter told Axios. Yellen’s successor will need to be confirmed by the Senate, posing a challenge if the Republican Party takes control of the upper chamber.

Officials are also considering whether Brian Deese, the director of the National Economic Council, could leave in the new year, according to the outlet.

CHICAGO (AP) — The gun-maker Smith & Wesson illegally targeted young men at risk of violence with ads for firearms — including the 22-year-old gunman accused of opening fire on an Independence Day parade in suburban Chicago and killing seven people, according to several lawsuits filed Wednesday in Illinois.

The lawsuits filed by people wounded while attending the Highland Park parade and the estates of several victims are the latest bid by victims of mass shootings to hold gun manufacturers accountable, despite broad protections for the industry in federal law.

Liz Turnipseed is among those filing lawsuits in Lake County on Wednesday against the gun manufacturer, the accused shooter and his father, along with two gun sellers.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Turnipseed said she had recently arrived at the parade with her husband and 3-year-old daughter, pointing out to the girl instruments in the high school band. She fell to the ground after being shot in the pelvis and remembers seeing her daughter’s stroller on its side and asking her husband to get their daughter to safety.

A British defense source said a suspected Russian sabotage attack on Nord Stream gas pipelines was “most likely premeditated and planned” using an explosive device that fell into the sea weeks before it was detonated.

Webmaster addition: Russia has no need to blow up the Nord Stream pipelines. They have the valves to shut off the oil and gas inside Russia. But Russia has been offering to restore energy supplies to Europe if they abandon the US sanctions  and war agenda. So. it is the US that has a motive to prevent Russia from restoring energy to Europe, to keep Europe under US control no matter how much the European people are made to suffer!

Ryan Samsel was arrested in January 2021.  He was blinded by DC prison guards in one of his many beatings since his arrest.

Ryan Samsel attended the January 6, 2021, protests in Washington DC.

Samsel pushed the flimsy bike racks and stormed the US Capitol after Ray Epps was seen whispering in his ear. Samsel allegedly injured a female police officer.

Since his arrest, Ryan Samsel has been held in a Washington DC prison. On March 21, 2021, Ryan was awakened by correctional officers and his hands were zip-tied.  Then they walked him to an unoccupied cell where he was brutally beaten by the officers. Ryan Samsel lost an eye in the beating.  His face was smashed.  The next day the guards beat him again.

In July 2021 Ryan’s attorney Joseph McBride joined Greg Kelly on Newsmax to reveal the unbelievable abuse of the Jan. 6 political prisoners in Washington DC.

This was not an isolated incident.

This is happening in America today.

The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit ruled Tuesday that being president may give former President Donald Trump immunity in a defamation case brought by a woman that claimed he raped her in the 1990s due to him being a government employee.

E. Jean Carroll filed a defamation suit against Trump in 2019 after he publicly denied her claim that he raped her in the mid-1990s while she was in a department store dressing room, Reuters reported.

The former president told reporters at the time that Carroll wasn’t "my type," and that she made up the accusation, which was featured in a book she published while he was president.

Trump denied the claims and asserted in court documents that Carroll could not sue him for defamation because he was president at the time.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, explaining the reasons behind his country’s refusal to negotiate with Moscow, compared Russia to an insatiable “cachalot” who would not understand the language of diplomacy.

In a Friday interview with the Wall Street Journal, Zelensky responded to the recent remarks of his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, who said earlier this week that Russia and Ukraine could have ended their conflict in March if Kiev had not withdrawn from negotiations.

Calling this statement “total delirium,” the Ukrainian leader said that, prior to Moscow’s offensive, he had been trying to talk to Putin for a long time but he couldn’t be bothered to take a phone call.
