During an interview with 60 Minutes over the weekend, President Biden used some unusual language while discussing his intentions for 2024; he says a firm decision “remains to be seen.”

“Sir, are you committed to running again, or are there certain conditions that have to be right?” host and interviewer Scott Pelley asked.

“Look, if I were to say to you, I’m running again, all of a sudden, a whole range of things come into play that I have– requirements I have to change and move and do,” Biden responded, noting that election laws played a factor in his answer. “And it’s much too early to make that kind of decision. I’m a great respecter of fate. And so, what I’m doing is I’m doing my job. I’m gonna do that job. And within the timeframe that makes sense after this next election cycle here, going into next year, make a judgment on what to do.”

“You say that it’s much too early to make that decision,” Pelley responded. “I take it the decision has not been made in your own head.”

“Look, my intention as I said to begin with is that I would run again. But it’s just an intention,” Biden answered. “But is it a firm decision that I run again? That remains to be seen.”

Russia has curbed natural gas supplies to Europe amid soaring tensions over its invasion of Ukraine, with the effect of sparking an unprecedented energy crisis across Europe, impacting Germany the most.

The German government's primary concern is avoiding a 'Lehman-style' collapse of its energy industry.

Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter, that German officials are mulling over increasing their stake in troubled NatGas importer Uniper SE above 50% -- there's also talk about nationalization.

In the early stages of World War I and World War II, chances are that people didn’t know that those wars had started. A series of events began to unfold and eventually it was realized that they were irreversible events. Things took on a life of their own and the world was at war. In March of 2020 when the world decided to follow a blueprint for disaster and began coercing face masks, lockdowns (yes that is a prison term) and a year later Covid gene therapy shots, many may not had realized that this had been the beginning of World War III. Unfortunately, it appears to be the case.

World War III looks to be an asymmetrical nonlinear war. It entails psychological, economic, and biological warfare. It is a war to create a technocratic global government. It is a war to impart a sophisticated type of neo feudalism upon humanity. A totalitarian system designed for total control and to transform what it means to be human. This war, is a war against civilians. It is a war against the human race. It appears a war of extermination and of extinction. It is the execution of a plan to depopulate the planet, and in the process, corral humanity into sophisticated prisons called smart cities.

The apparent deliberate destruction of food supplies and an outright assault on agriculture and energy supplies, and the implementation of medical tyranny, are tactics in this war. Geoengineering is also a tactic. That’s right, create the climate disasters and blame them on humanity. Governments and government controlled media are weapons in this war.

What once distinguished the United States from illiberal regimes following the Orwellian mantra “some are more equal than others” was the hallowed American idea of “equal justice under the law.”

The phrase is engraved above the entrance to the United States Supreme Court—an ideal that took centuries to achieve. Yet it is an ancient concept—what the Greeks called isonomia that distinguished classical democratic Athens from its anti-democratic rivals. Isonomia later became enshrined as the central criterion of all Western consensual governments.

Does it still exist in Joe Biden’s America?

In many ways, no—due both to state and private vendettas as well as state efforts to destroy rather than merely defeat political opponents.

Is the law equally applied at the border?

CLAIM: “A Republican investigation … uncovered no wrongdoing by then-Vice President Biden” regarding Hunter Biden.

VERDICT: MOSTLY FALSE. That investigation found Joe Biden had conflicts of interest and likely misled the public.

President Joe Biden sat down Sunday with CBS News’ Scott Pelley on 60 Minutes for his first media interview since the Super Bowl in February. He again denied any wrongdoing by his son, saying nothing Hunter Biden had done affected him or the country. That claim is very much in doubt, but Pelley appeared to lend weight to it by claiming, erroneously: “Congress investigated Hunter Biden’s job with a Ukrainian company at the time that his father ran Ukrainian policy in the Obama administration. A Republican investigation, however, uncovered no wrongdoing by then-Vice President Biden.”

That is not what the investigation by the Republican-led committees on homeland security and finance found in their report.

The report detailed many conflicts of interest involving then-Vice President Biden and members of his family, including Hunter Biden. Concerns about those conflicts of interest were raised within the Obama administration but went nowhere once those questions reached the vice president’s office. Conflicts involving Hunter Biden went far beyond Ukraine and included Russia and China, among other countries implicated in Hunter Biden’s business dealings while his father was in office.

It was true that the committee could not find that Joe Biden broke the law — because the law exempted the president and vice president. It found, however, that Biden had violated the basic understanding that politicians would not abuse their positions:

President Joe Biden attempted to put historic levels of inflation "in perspective" on Sunday, arguing that last week's inflation number was up "hardly at all" from the previous month.

When asked by CBS's Scott Pelley on 60 Minutes on Sunday what he could do "better and faster" to bring down price increases, Biden said that the 8.3% annual inflation rate revealed last Tuesday was "just an inch" higher than the previous report and that people shouldn't act shocked at the number.

"Mr. President, as you know, last Tuesday, the annual inflation rate came in at 8.3%. The stock market nosedived. People are shocked by their grocery bills. What can you do better and faster?" Pelley asked Biden, to which he responded, "Well, first of all, let's put this in perspective. Inflation rate month to month was just an inch, hardly at all ..."

A Very 'Hairy' Situation Grows Between Newsom and DeSantis

You know things are becoming tangled, or untangled, as the case may be when hair gel and hair spray become political topics.

The hairy situation, as reported by Fox News, stems from a challenge made via Twitter by Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom of California to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. In a Tweet on September 16, Governor Newsom stated, “Hey @GovRonDeSantis, clearly you’re struggling, distracted, and busy playing politics with people’s lives.

Protests against gas prices are rising in Europe. European citizens are increasingly dissatisfied with the directions taken by their countries and organize demonstrations to express their opinions against the EU and its sanctions. In Austria, tens of thousands of people took to the streets to demand political changes. However, the western media continues to ignore the protests.

On September 17th, the streets of Vienna and eight other major Austrian cities were taken over by tens of thousands of protesters furious at the uncontrolled rise in gas prices and living costs. Although local police declined to reveal their official estimates, sources claim that around 20,000 people attended the protests in Vienna, with around 10,000 others in the cities of Linz, Bruck an der Mur, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt St. Polten, Eisenstadt and Bregenz.

The protests were organized by several different political groups, but the biggest one was the trade union federation OeGB. As seen recently in other parts of Europe, individuals of different political ideologies came together for a common cause: the improvement of people’s living conditions and the end of the disastrous economic policy that is currently being conducted. Austrian political leaders reported that the main objective of the protests is to put pressure on the governing alliance – formed by a conservative-green coalition -, which the OeGB considers guilty of “watching idly as life becomes unaffordable”.

In Vienna, where the protests were concentrated, a large rally was held by trade unionists. Many criticisms against the government, big companies, and the EU were made during the speeches. Such was the popular mobilization that the Austrian president himself expressed solidarity with the situation and communicated with his voters through his social networks in order to ease popular anger. He stated that he is in solidarity with the people at this time of economic difficulty but was not able to promise any real solution to the problem.

Russian producer of mineral and potash fertilizers, Uralchem, has decided to supply its products to Africa free of charge, the company’s chief executive Dmitry Konyaev announced on Monday.

“The situation in the world today is really bad. Africa has been starving and will continue to starve, unfortunately. We, as a company, even decided to supply fertilizers to Africa for free, just because we are part of this global chain when you need to produce food,” Konyaev said during his speech at the Innofood forum in Sochi.

The first batch of 25,000 tons of humanitarian cargo could reportedly be sent to the Republic of Togo.

According to Uralchem CEO, there are no problems with food security in Russia, since the country is fully provided with fertilizers and can send a significant quantity for export.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s staff said on Thursday they are considering sending “a few thousand” more illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard.

This comes after DeSantis happily revealed on Wednesday he was responsible for sending two planes carrying the illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard. In response to outraged leftists, DeSantis spoke from Okaloosa County, Florida to explain his decision.

This comes after Martha’s Vineyard Homeless Shelter Coordinator Lisa Belcastro threw a complete fit over the 50 illegal immigrants DeSantis sent to Martha’s Vineyard, an island home to former President Barack Obama and many other prominent figures. She claims they don’t have housing for 50 more people and the migrants must “move somewhere else.”

If humankind is to one day colonise Mars, we will need to learn how to produce most of the food and equipment we need to survive on the Red Planet itself.

This is because taking materials into space is prohibitively expensive. For example, it costs about $54,000 (£47,000) for the NASA space shuttle to put just 1kg (2.2 pounds) of payload into Earth orbit.

Anything that can be made on-planet will therefore save weight and money - not to mention that fact that, if something breaks, astronauts will need a way to repair it on-site.

Now researchers from Washington State University (WSU) have found a way to 3D-print tools and rocket parts using dust on Mars's surface.

The breakthrough could make future space travel cheaper and more practical, the researchers claim.

Many eyes will be on New Hampshire in November’s crucial midterm elections.

An 8 News Now/Emerson College Polling/The Hill survey found that races for Nevada’s Senate seat and governor’s mansion are in a dead heat, with Republicans in a strong position in both races.

The poll found that incumbent Democrat Sen. Catherine Cortez Mastro is in serious jeopardy of losing the seat.

Republican candidate Adam Laxalt received 42 percent in the survey while 41 percent of voters said they supported Cortez Masto. Eleven percent said they were undecided and four percent said they planned to vote for someone else.

The race for Nevada’s governor’s mansion is also nearly a tie.

At least 13 civilians have lost their lives in a Ukrainian artillery strike on the city of Donetsk, local authorities have said.

Donetsk city administration chief Alexey Kulemzin took to Telegram on Monday, writing: “according to preliminary information, 13 civilians are dead as a result of a punitive strike on Baku Commissars square.”

The official added that the exact number of those injured in the attack is not yet known.

Local media, citing eyewitnesses, has said an artillery shell hit a bus stop.

Speaking to Russia’s Rossiya 24 news channel later in the day, Kulemzin said: “two children are among the dead,” adding that it’s not the first case of minors being killed by Ukrainian strikes in that district.

Samizdat | September 19, 2022

President Joe Biden once again said that Washington is willing to use military force to defend Taiwan from Beijing, if necessary, while insisting that the US still adheres to ‘One China’ policy and is “not encouraging” the island’s independence.

During a ‘60 Minutes’ CBS News interview aired Sunday night, Biden was asked if the US would become directly involved to “defend the island” in a potential conflict between Beijing and Taiwan, including through the use of military force.

“Yes, if in fact there was an unprecedented attack…” Biden replied, before the broadcaster cut away to clarify the controversial statement. A White House official apparently explained to CBS, before the interview was aired, that US policy “has not changed” and that officially the US would still neither confirm nor deny whether American forces would defend Taiwan.

“So unlike Ukraine, to be clear, sir, US forces, US men and women would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion?” the interviewer Scott Pelley asked again.

“Yes,” reiterated Biden.

A banker recently told me that CEOs “would have to do something pretty special to fall into bankruptcy” the last couple of years as government pumped massive liquidity into the market, on top of the pandemic handouts.

That’s now changing, possibly quickly, with the Fed raising interest rates and reducing the size of its balance sheet.

A cruel winter is likely for Wall Street as markets remain choppy and their biggest clients scale back. Traditional deal-making such as IPOs has dropped significantly. At every major investment house, management is quietly planning layoffs (and some, like Goldman Sachs, not so quietly).

One area of potential growth: Wall Street restructuring departments. They’re eyeing expansion to provide advice to companies so burdened by high debt load they need to sell stuff or “restructure” in Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Must See: Bill Maher Mocks The Woke Concept Of “Presentism”

The concept of the woke mentality blames all of America’s past problems on the former white leaders and conservatives that they claim missed critical moments in American history. Their goal is to rewrite American history, presenting a twisted version where the white man is presented as a terrorist determined to press the minority into a form of enslaved humans.

Bill Maher, a liberal comedian, was on “Real Time” when he decided it was time to poke a little fun at the woke concept. He stated, "New rule: You can get creative with a novel, a TV show or a movie, but history books – that’s not supposed to be fan fiction.”

I have some questions about those cameras.  For instance, who’s watching?  Are these cameras monitored by someone?  Are they recording video footage, taking still photographs, or what?  I tried doing some research to find out, but found no answers to these questions.

This may seem like a trivial matter, but the bigger issue is that as American citizens, we really have no personal privacy anymore.  Someone is always watching us, collecting information and data about us, and tracking our every move.  You may think this is no big deal because after all, you’re an upstanding citizen and have nothing to hide.  But you’d be surprised how much data and information about you is continually being monitored, and stored.  Just type your name or address into any internet search engine, and you may be surprised at what you find.

In today’s world of high tech, virtually every entity you interact with is collecting information on you.  Of course, this has been going on for years, but things really ramped up in 2006 when a thing called “Facebook” was launched to the public.  It was presented to us as a fun way to connect with family and friends, and make new friends online.  Because it was so user-friendly, it grew quickly, especially with the advent of “smart phones” and other hand-held devices.  Today, nearly 3 million people use Facebook daily, and many are addicted to it.
