CNN’s Jake Tapper and Dana Bash will moderate the first presidential debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.

The role is typically meant to be that of a neutral custodian of the conversation between the participants, though Tapper’s long history of harshly criticizing Trump while on the air raises questions about his ability to remain even-handed.

The continued inevitable and disastrous slide into a WW3 nuclear-armed confrontation between Russian and the West continues as The New York Times reports NATO appears to actually be seriously mulling sending troops to Ukraine to serve in the role as 'trainers' at a moment Kiev is desperate to tap and train up new manpower. And this would be closer to front line positions as well.

"NATO allies are inching closer to sending troops into Ukraine to train Ukrainian forces, a move that would be another blurring of a previous red line and could draw the United States and Europe more directly into the war," NY Times wrote Thursday. What has changed? The Zelensky government is now directly requesting it, apparently on a formal level for the first time of the conflict, according to officials.

The Times confirms "Ukrainian officials have asked their American and NATO counterparts to help train 150,000 new recruits closer to the front line for faster deployment."

Webmaster addition: I fear we will be a real world war by year's end.

Snopes was forced to change its fact-check regarding the authenticity of Ashley Biden's diary, which includes passages discussing how her father, Joe Biden, sexually abused her, from "UNPROVEN" to "TRUE." While the mainstream media responded with utter silence, this explosive revelation has been widely discussed on social media, especially here on X. Interestingly, the primary defense from President Biden’s supporters has been to suggest, without evidence, that Donald Trump's relationship with his daughter Ivanka was similarly inappropriate. This baseless deflection only underscores their desperation to shield Biden from accountability.

Standing up for the rights of LGBTQ people is one of the reasons for NATO’s existence, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg suggested on Friday.

He was among hundreds of Western public officials, institutions and organizations to make a statement affirming the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).

“NATO exists to defend 32 nations, and our peoples’ right to live freely & in peace,” Stoltenberg posted on X, formerly Twitter. “On the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia, and every day: all love is equal. LGBTQ+ people deserve respect & dignity, and I am proud to call myself your ally.”

Michael Cohen is the “star witness” in Democrats’ criminal trial against Donald Trump. The former Trump lawyer claimed the former president committed crimes by paying “hush money” and falsifying documents.

Cohen has already served time in jail for lying about his work for Trump. This week, however, he took the stand and provided audio proving his claims. But, as it is turning out, this “ace” evidence might have sunk the prosecution’s case.

From Just the News:
When their star witness Michael Cohen played a tape he secretly made of his ex-boss and client, the recording appeared to show that Trump was unaware of key details, seemingly aloof to a plan that Cohen himself admitted he had concocted to make the so-called “hush money” payments.

Like the glove too small to fit OJ Simpson, the Cohen tape may prove an explosive boomerang that benefits the defense more than the prosecution.

The unelected World Economic Forum (WEF) is calling on global governments to begin placing limits on private car ownership among the general public.

The globalist WEF is demanding that regular families with more than one car should be forced to give up one of their vehicles.

Despite the fact that a person can only drive one car at a time, the WEF insists that limiting the number of vehicles people can own will help to “save the planet” from “climate change.”

The WEF argues that members of the public must be forced into giving up a vehicle as part of the organization’s “One Less Car” agenda.

However, the agenda appears to be a stepping stone for the WEF’s long-promoted plan to eliminate all private car ownership.

The Israeli army has published a harrowing photo from its recent assault on Gaza's Al-Shifa Hospital, showing doctors, journalists and other civilians rounded up and kneeling with their hands restrained behind their backs.

Ramy Abdu, Chairman of human rights group Euro-Med, shared the image on X , identifying at least two of the detained men.

The photo shows ten visibly frightened men huddled together and wearing the notorious white detainee jump suits, used by the Israeli military in Gaza, with numbered banners around their heads.

"The image includes several doctors, including Dr. Murad Al-Qouqa, head of the orthopedic department, and a number of journalists, including veteran journalist Emad Al-Ifrangi," Abdu wrote.

Israel carried out a brutal two-week siege of the hospital in March, leaving behind a wasteland of destroyed buildings and graves containing dozens of dead bodies inside the grounds.

The forced displacement of nearly two million Palestinians and large-scale destruction of civilian property and infrastructure in Gaza highlights Israel's "appalling record" of displacement, Amnesty International said on Wednesday.

It also shows Israel's refusal to respect Palestinians' right of return for the past 76 years.

The remarks came on Nakba Day, an annual commemoration of the expulsion of around 750,000 Palestinians from their homes by Zionist militias in 1948 to make way for the creation of the Israeli state.

"Generations of Palestinians across the occupied territories are deeply scarred by the trauma of being uprooted and dispossessed multiple times and with no prospect of return to their homes," said Erika Guevara Rosas, senior advocacy director at Amnesty.

"It is utterly harrowing to see the chilling scenes of [the] 1948 Nakba (catastrophe), as it is known to Palestinians, repeat themselves as droves of Palestinians in Gaza are forced to flee their homes on foot in search of safety over and over, and Israeli army and state backed settlers expel Palestinians in the West Bank from their homes."
