Hezbollah’s Military Media has released video footage documenting an attack that targeted the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Mitat barracks on the border with Lebanon on December 8.

The barracks was targeted with an anti-tank guided missile, most likely the thermobaric version of the Russian-made Kornet or an Iranian copy of it. The missile destroyed much of the barracks and started a fire. Hebrew media reported that two soldiers were wounded.

Commenting on the state of the battlefront along the Lebanese-Palestenian borders, Israeli Kan channel military affairs analyst, Roi Sharon said it was clear that Hezbollah "is running things in the North" pressing the Israeli Occupation Forces into defense.

Sharon warned that if the fighting in the north escalates a notch it would entail an all-out war.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Wednesday that Hezbollah must be pushed back from the Israeli border, and if it’s not achieved through diplomatic means, Israel will take military action.

The comments suggest Israel is considering opening a second front in Lebanon beyond the cross-border strikes Israel and Hezbollah have been exchanging since October 7.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned Israel of a “heavy price” if the Tel Aviv regime carries out its alleged plot to target members of the Palestinian Hamas resistance group on Turkish soil.

The Turkish leader made the warning as he was speaking with journalists on his return flight from a two-day Qatar trip on Tuesday, just a day after the Shin Bet chief revealed that Tel Aviv intends to assassinate Hamas members living outside Palestine.

Hezbollah launched a new wave of attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) on December 6, ignoring threats of an Israeli threat to invade southern Lebanon.

In eight separate statements, Hezbollah said that its fighters attacked the military sites of Radar, Ruwaisat al-Qarn, al-Dhahira, Hadab al-Bustan, al-Malikiyah, al-Raheb as well as Ramim Barracks and the Naqoura naval site.

The group announced in two other statements that it had targeted three gatherings of Israeli troops in the border areas of Jal al-Alam, Karm al-Tuffah and Tal al-Shair.

The truce in Gaza has collapsed, and Israel has resumed their attacks on the civilians of Gaza. Over 14,000 people have died in Gaza, and about half are children. On Friday, the death toll is increasing once again after days of peace.

On December 2, Hezbollah and its allies escalated attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) from southern Lebanon in support of the Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah fighters targeted the Israeli military sites of Al-Raheb, Ruwaisat al-Alam, Jal al-Alam, al-Marj and al-Matula as well as the headquarters of the IDF’s 91th Division in the Pranit barracks on the Lebanese-Israeli border.

In support of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah, executed five operations against Israeli military sites in occupied northern territories.
