Thought for the day

A U.S. government body held a Congressional briefing plotting ways to break up Russia as a country, in the name of supposed “decolonization.”

The participants urged the United States to give more support to separatist movements inside Russia and in the diaspora.

They proposed the independence of numerous republics in the Russian Federation, including Chechnya, Tatarstan, and Dagestan, as well as historic areas that existed centuries ago such as Circassia.

Thursday, during an appearance on FNC’s “The Story,” Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) blasted President Joe Biden’s record, citing several metrics calling into question the economic health of the United States.

The Louisiana Republican suggested he would be ashamed if he had a record comparable to Biden’s record.

Shortly after the new Congress was seated, Congressman James Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, wrote to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen with a records request. He wanted his committee to review any “suspicious activity reports” the Treasury might have related to Hunter Biden’s financial transactions over the years. This was meant to be part of the “Biden Incorporated” investigations that recently began.

Republican AGs from 25 states SUE Biden administration over new 'socially conscious' investing rule saying it 'undermines key protections' for the retirement savings of 152M workers totaling $12T in assets MikeRivero Fri, 01/27/2023 - 09:22

The Republican attorneys general from 25 US states have filed a lawsuit challenging the Biden administration's plan to allow retirement fund managers to make 'socially conscious' investment decisions.

The National Archives and Records Administration did not meet a deadline that it had to turn over documents to Congress that would have shown if there was any political bias in its handling of an investigation into the current President.

The agency was supposed to report to Congress any findings that it had about the role that political bias might have played in its quiet approach to how it handled the investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents, according to The Blaze.

Ukraine Expects to Get All the Western Weapons It Wants MikeRivero Fri, 01/27/2023 - 09:07

Shortly after President Biden announced Ukraine would be getting the Western-made tanks it sought, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was demanding fighter jets and longer-range missiles.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer accused the Biden administration of a 'coordinated effort' to shield the president's son from scrutiny on Thursday.

It comes in response to the Treasury Department blocking - at least temporarily - House Republicans' request for documents related to Hunter Biden's financial transactions.

A Treasury official told Comer that he would need to supply additional details for his request.

SEAN HANNITY (HOST): I don't wanna America in these long, protracted conflicts, Bill.

BILL O'REILLY (GUEST): Well, neither do I, because -- you got to be careful with this. Because you've got an unstable dictator with nuclear weapons. You've got to be careful with this.

HANNITY: How do -- how do you be careful, Bill? We're gonna give them money. We're gonna give them tanks. We're gonna escalate. And at what point do we say, "We've got nuclear weapons too, Vladimir. If you fire at us, we'll destroy you"?

O'REILLY: Come on.
