Pope Francis warns young people not to be tempted by consumerist sirens

Pope Francis ended his visit to Greece Monday by encouraging its young people to follow their dreams and not be tempted by the consumerist "sirens" of today that promise easy pleasures.

Francis briefly struggled to keep his balance on the steps while boarding the plane bound for Rome a when caught by a gust of wind and was helped on board by an aide.

Earlier, Francis met with students at a Catholic school in Athens in his final event of a five-day visit to Cyprus and Greece that has been dominated by his concern for the plight of migrants seeking entry in Europe.

‘Pope, You Are a Heretic!’ – Francis Confronted by Elderly Orthodox Priest in Athens

Pope Francis was heckled by an elderly Greek Orthodox priest on Saturday as he arrived for a meeting with the head of the country’s Orthodox Church, evidence of the lingering distrust between some Orthodox and Catholics centuries after Christianity was cleaved in half.

“Pope, you are a heretic!” the priest shouted three times as Francis arrived at the residence of Archbishop Ieronymos in the Greek capital of Athens. The protester fell to the ground as police led him away, and Francis appeared not to notice as he walked into the residence for his private meeting with the Orthodox leader.

The incident followed small protests against the pope on his previous stop, the island of Cyprus, which is also predominantly Eastern Orthodox.

N.J. rabbi committed ‘horrific acts’ of child sex abuse while Jewish organizations did nothing, lawsuits say

In the summer of 1974, a girl went on a youth group trip to Israel led by Rabbi Baruch Lanner, a popular New Jersey rabbi who headed the state’s chapter of the National Conference of Synagogue Youth.

On each night in Israel, the young rabbi asked a teenager to join him in a secluded area, according to a newly-filed lawsuit. Each time one of the girls, identified in the lawsuit as Jane Doe #3, was selected, she said Lanner kissed her and touched her breasts.

By the end of the trip, the girl refused to be alone with Lanner or speak to him.

“Lanner responded by punching her in the stomach, knocking the wind out of her,” the lawsuit said.

When the girl told Lanner’s boss, a prominent rabbi, about his behavior, he dismissed her allegations, saying, Lanner “does so much good; it’s important what he’s doing,” according to the lawsuit.

How Two Rabbis Stole Christmas Traditions To Invent Hanukkah As A Competing Jewish Holiday

Two Cincinnati rabbis — who felt that Jews in America needed a holiday of their own to compete with Christmas — are responsible for contriving and popularizing Hanukkah in America, according to Dianne Ashton, a professor of religion studies at Rowan University:

In an editorial published by the independent media website, The Conversation, Ashton explains that outside of America, Hanukkah is regarded as a minor Jewish holiday.

In the decades after the Civil War, Rabbi Isaac M. Wise of Plum Street Temple and Rabbi Max Lilienthal of Mound Street Temple introduced Hanukkah festivals to their congregations and promoted them in their publications to Jews across the nation.

“Through their efforts, special Hanukkah events for children became standard in American synagogues,” Ashton wrote.

Hanukkah, with its many variant spellings, is the Hebrew word for “dedication.”

Pope Francis embraces Emmanuel Macron as France liberalizes abortion law, increases COVID restrictions

President Emmanuel Macron of France paid?a highly publicized visit to Pope Francis last Friday?during which – to the surprise and shock of French observers – he used the familiar “tu” form when speaking to the head of the Catholic Church. Many considered this to be the sign of a profound fraternity if not complicity between the two men. If proof was needed that their political agendas have many points in common,?here it was.

The “fraternal” meeting took place at the time when France is increasing its dictatorial COVID restrictions.?It was at the beginning of last week that masking requirements — even in open air venues — even for the “vaccinated” — were implemented.?As of December 15, elderly people with only two doses of the?experimental jab will lose their sanitary pass, and the same rule will apply to people aged 18 to 64 from January 15.

Israeli ‘apartheid’ is antithetical to our values, Chicago Episcopalians say, by nearly 3 to 1

If you are looking to measure the past year’s dramatic rise in Americans’ awareness and rejection of the Israeli system that oppresses Palestinians, the November 20 vote by the Episcopalians of Chicago offers a metric. The annual convention of their diocese resolved, 72 percent to 28 percent, to call out Israel as meeting the legal definition of apartheid and to condemn that as “antithetical” to their values [text of the resolution below]. Just last year, in contrast, they had declined to pass virtually the same resolution, voting 58-42 against.

The Chicagoans’ big shift is part of a gathering wave of similar statements by so-called mainline, largely liberal, Christian denominations. Thus, only days earlier, Atlanta’s Presbyterians also declared — by a whopping 95 percent — that Israel meets the legal definition of apartheid.

German Bishops: Coronavirus Vaccination Is a ‘Moral Duty’

The German Bishops’ Conference has “emphatically” called on all Catholics to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, calling the measure a “moral duty.”

“These days we are witnessing the progression of the fourth wave of the coronavirus pandemic in almost unstoppable drama,” the bishops said this week. “The incidence figures, new infections and deaths are reaching alarming proportions.”

“We emphatically call on Catholics and all people in our country to be vaccinated as far as possible,” they stated. “In this pandemic, vaccination is an obligation of justice, solidarity, and charity.”

“From an ethical point of view, it is a moral duty,” they declared.

“We have to protect ourselves and others. Vaccination is the most effective way of doing this,” they added.

The U.S. bishops have been divided over the right to conscientious objection to the vaccines, as well as over vaccine mandates by government and business.

Canadian pastor released from court order to recite disclaimer when speaking against COVID mandates

Christian pastor Artur Pawlowski will no longer have to promote the government COVID narrative when speaking against virus rules and vaccines after winning a court appeal.

According to a Rebel News report, on Thursday, Justice Jo’Anne Strekaf of the Alberta Court of Appeal tossed an extreme sentence handed to Pawlowski and his brother Dawid Pawlowski by Alberta Justice Adam Germain in October, that limited their free speech. Strekaf also stayed a travel ban imposed on the brothers.

Germain’s order mandated that the Pawlowski brothers – who have been critical of the Alberta governments’ COVID rules along with the jabs – had to state official government propaganda regarding the virus each time they challenged government rules in public.

Germain wrote that as a “final” term of his probation order, that Pawlowski and his brother must say COVID jabs “save lives” whenever he speaks out against them.

French court clears Catholic lay group accused of ‘discrimination’ by LGBT organizations

Renaissance Catholique, a French lay association of traditional Catholics, was cleared Tuesday by a penal court in Paris after being accused of having “incited to discriminate against a group of people because of their sexual orientation.”

Three “LGBT” associations had objected to a published translation of the 2019 “Declaration of the truths relating to some of the most common errors in the life of the Church of our time” by Cardinals Raymond Burke and Janis Pujats, and Bishops Athanasius Schneider, Tomasz Peta and Jan Pavel Lenga.

The ruling is clearly a victory for the Church and its teachings, but not one French bishop answered the association’s call for support in the face of burdensome legal procedures that took a great deal of time and money.

Jean-Pierre Maugendre, founder and executive manager and legal representative of Renaissance Catholique’s website that posted the Declaration, was questioned by the judges during the hearing last month.

One of the actions would involve the Department of Health and Human Services rolling back the authority that had been given to the Office of Civil Rights to "prevent violations of religious liberty."

Fr. Altman torches US bishops at rally: ‘Repent and resign … your mitre is your great millstone’

Father James Altman blasted members of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) on Tuesday at Church Militant’s “Bishops: Enough is Enough” prayer rally and conference, excoriating the prelates over their part in the sex abuse crisis and for mandating the reception of the abortion-tainted COVID jabs for clerics under their jurisdiction.

Altman, suspended by Bishop William Callahan of La Crosse, Wisconsin from his post as pastor of St. James the Less Church in La Crosse in July after he advised his parishioners that they “can’t be a Catholic and a Democrat,” unloaded on the USCCB, whose members are currently gathered for their annual Fall Assembly in a hotel directly opposite from where he was speaking, in a fiery nine-minute speech.

“You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy,” Altman said of the gathered bishops. There are “five billion dollars of payouts for criminal abuse and cover-up that continues to this day to prove the point,” he added.

Greek Bishops Demand Clergy Get Vaccine or Be Put on Leave

Two Greek Orthodox Metropolitan Bishops have demanded that priests under them be vaccinated against coronavirus or they will be put on leave.

The Metropolitan Bishops of Mytilene and Dodoni have both stated to their priests that they must take the coronavirus vaccine or they will be forced on unpaid leave. They have given the unvaccinated priests several days to decide their course of action.

Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Dodoni spoke on the matter, saying: “When the believer does not hear the voice of the church, he puts himself out of the church.” Adding: “Anyone who has not been vaccinated should be outside the church premises. When a believer does not obey the decisions of the church, he puts himself out of the church.”

He continued that those who refuse the vaccine may be encouraged to take it if the priests in churches were also vaccinated. He also stated that any priests taking part in anti-vaccine demonstrations was unacceptable, Greek newspaper Proto Thema reports.

'Build Back Better' Won't 'Build' For God Fearing Americans

President Biden and Democrats’ Build Back Better Act includes a provision that specifically prohibits religious schools from using infrastructure grants to improve their facilities.

The bill, which House Democrats hope to vote on this week, includes a provision for infrastructure grants to improve child care safety. Specifically to help child care providers "acquire, construct, renovate or improve" their facilities.

However, included further down in the bill’s text is a prohibition against religious organizations like churches and synagogues that also have schools or child care services. They are prohibited from using funds to improve their facilities.

Biden's $1.75 trillion Build Back Better plan will ban religious schools from using infrastructure grants to renovate or repair their facilities

President Biden's $1.75 trillion Build Back Better act will specifically ban religious schools from using infrastructure grants to renovate or better their facilities.

If the infrastructure bill passes the House when it will be voted upon on Friday, then it will ban religiously-affiliated schools or child care services from allocating funds to improve their facilities.

Grant recipients 'may not use the funds for modernization, renovation or repair of facilities that are primarily used for sectarian instruction or religious worship,' the bill says.

In March, Representative Mike Kelly (R-PA.) and junior South Carolina Senator Tim Scott introduced the Child Welfare Inclusion Act, a bill to ensure that both state and local governments cannot discriminate against faith-based adoption and foster care providers by forcing them to choose between offering these vital services and violating their deeply held religious beliefs.

Catholic bishop warns that covid plandemic is ushering in global dictatorship

Departing from the sentiments of his “boss” Pope Francis, Archbishop Viganò delivered a message on “No Fear Day” in Turin (Torino), Italy, about how the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) is ushering in a global health dictatorship, which he says “tomorrow will be an ecological dictatorship.”

Hundreds of thousands of people all around the world, Viganò told listeners, are showing their opposition to this global tyranny in the form of protests. People do not want to comply with all the “pandemic folly,” he says, which includes lockdowns, curfews, vaccines, health passports, and totalitarian blackmail of the “elite” who are being used to push all the fascism.

“It is a power that reveals itself as intrinsically evil, animated by an infernal ideology and driven by criminal purposes,” Viganò stated.

Moon seeks papal visit to NK, but will Pyongyang play ball?

South Korean President Moon Jae-in is striving to have Pope Francis visit North Korea in what appears to be a final push to salvage diplomacy with the reclusive regime, but it remains to be seen whether Pyongyang will accept the proposal.

Moon asked the pope to visit the North when they met at the Vatican on Friday, saying a visit would build “momentum for peace” on the Korean Peninsula, according to Cheong Wa Dae spokesperson Park Kyung-mee.

In response, the pope, calling the two Koreas “brothers who speak the same language,” said he would “gladly visit” for the sake of peace, if he received an invitation from Pyongyang.

Moon was in Rome to attend the Group of 20 summit as part of his nine-day trip to Europe.

FLASHBACK - Vatican charges cardinal and 9 others with financial crimes

The Vatican charged 10 persons with financial crimes on Saturday, including an Italian cardinal. The charges follow an inquiry by the Vatican Gendarmerie.

The charges center around the Vatican Secretariat of State’s investment in Raffaele Mincione’s Athena Capital Global Opportunities Fund. Mincione, who allegedly used fund money for personal investments, received charges of “embezzlement, fraud, abuse of office, embezzlement and self-laundering.”

Mincione’s fund operated between June of 2013 and February of 2014. The Secretariat of State borrowed $200 million to invest in the fund. €18 million had been lost by September of 2018. According to the Vatican, the fund manager had a conflict of interest because he risked others’ capital to further his personal interests.

Oct 20 08:05

The Pope made the remarks during a World Meeting of Popular Movements, a shadowy organization created to promote “social justice” and fight racism with the help of religious leaders.

“In the name of God, I ask the technology giants to stop exploiting human weakness, people’s vulnerability, for the sake of profits without caring about the spread of hate speech, grooming, fake news, conspiracy theories, and political manipulation,” he stated.

Pope Francis also invoked the term “post-truth,” which was invented by establishment media organs after they began to lose their monopoly on controlling the narrative following the election of Donald Trump.

The Catholic leader apparently believes it’s Christian and Godly to empower giant corporations to shut down free speech.

This is no surprise given his previous stance on free speech in response to the slaughter of the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists, when he rhetorically sided with the terrorists who murdered them in cold blood.

Pope Francis compares Black Lives Matter protests to Good Samaritan

The Pope’s comments came as part of a longer speech on social justice, part of which he devoted to urging “all the great pharmaceutical laboratories” to open their patents on the COVID-19 jabs as “a gesture of humanity,” despite their connection to abortion.

His comments were addressed to the members of popular movements, an initiative created by the Pope and which describes itself as “grassroots organizations and social movements established around the world by people whose inalienable rights to decent work, decent housing, and fertile land and food are undermined, threatened or denied outright.”

Vatican enjoys diplomatic immunity, European human rights court says, dismissing alleged child-abuse victims

The Vatican enjoys sovereign immunity that protects it from sexual-abuse lawsuits in local courts, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has ruled, after a case was put forward by 24 people who claim to be victims.

On Tuesday, the top court dismissed a case submitted by two dozen people who claim to be survivors of child sexual abuse at the hands of the Catholic clergy from France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

The alleged survivors had initially filed a class action in the Ghent Court of First Instance against the Holy See and several high figures in the clergy in 2011, demanding €10,000 ($11,600) in compensation for each victim because of the Church’s “policy of silence on the issue of sexual abuse.”

The lawsuit complained “of the structurally deficient way in which the Church had dealt with the known problem of sexual abuse within it.”

Former Houston Methodist employees will demand their jobs back after Abbott’s vaccine mandate ban

More than 150 former Houston Methodist employees who parted ways with the hospital in June over a vaccine mandate policy will demand to be rehired after Gov. Greg Abbott issued an executive order on Monday banning any entity in the state from implementing such mandates, according to a lawyer representing the former employees.

Attorney Jared Woodfill, who currently represents almost 200 healthcare workers in multiple lawsuits against Methodist, said executive order GA-40 makes the hospital’s policy illegal.

“Governor Abbott says very clearly, ‘whereas countless Texans fear losing their livelihoods because they object to receiving a COVID-19 vaccination for reasons of personal conscience,'” he said. “That applies to every plaintiff that I represent, and every plaintiff that Methodist hospital thought it was appropriate to fire.”

Woodfill said he planned to send a formal request to the hospital on Tuesday in an attempt to reinstate the former employees.

Pfizer admits to using aborted fetal tissue in developing its vaccines. So can Christians sign up for a jab exemption now?

For billions of faithful around the world, abortion is considered first-degree murder, yet fetal tissue is being used to develop Covid vaccines. While some may argue that ‘killing a life to save millions’ is fine, many disagree.
For those who rely on the mainstream media to keep astride of current affairs, chances are slim you’ve heard the story of Melissa Strickler. That’s too bad because Miss Strickler, Pfizer’s quality auditor, just unloaded a batch of company emails that show company executives being less than honest at a time when the Biden administration – as well as other governments around the world – is enforcing mandatory vaccines on millions of their citizens.

What makes Strickler’s revelations so startling is that Pfizer is instructing staff to obfuscate the truth over the use of aborted fetal cells in the development of its vaccines. This latest slap in the face to the faithful stings much more than closing down churches during a pandemic.

‘Most absolute of evils’: Investigation estimates up to 3,200 pedophile priests in French Catholic Church since 1950

Up to 3,200 Catholic priests have sexually abused children in France in recent history, the head of an independent inquiry has said, days before publishing a report on the scope of crimes against minors inside the church.

The independent commission led by former vice president of the Council of State Jean-Marc Sauve was set up by the French Catholic Church in 2018 to study sexual crimes against minors within its ranks. After going through church archives across the country and conducting interviews, the commission, known by its acronym CIASE, will deliver a 2,500-page report on Tuesday.

Sauve told AFP his team had uncovered between 2,900 and 3,200 pedophile priests and other church members who operated since 1950. He added that it was “a minimum estimate.”

3 Swiss Guards resign after Vatican orders vaccinations & introduces Covid-19 Green Passes for staff and visitors

Three Swiss Guards have resigned ‘voluntarily’ from the ceremonial Vatican force, while several others have been suspended after the Holy See ordered the troops to get vaccinated against Covid-19 without any religious exemptions.

While other Vatican staff and visitors have an option to undergo regular Covid-19 tests to maintain their Green Pass status, all Swiss Guards had been ordered to get a jab “to protect their health and that of the others they come into contact with as part of their service,” the unit's official Lt. Urs Breitenmoser told AP.

Three members of the Guard have chosen not to adhere to that request, voluntarily leaving the corps.

Hungary Warns Pope Francis: You Are Allowing Christianity to Die

Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has warned Pope Francis that Christianity is being allowed to die under his leadership.

The Hungarian leader told the pope that the Christian faith will "perish" if he continues to promote a globalist agenda.

Orbán said that Francis must end his support for mass immigration in Europe before it's too late. When the two leaders met this week, the prime minister gave the pope a gift to remind him of the dangers of his open-borders push.

"At the meeting on Sunday, according to state media, Orban even-handed the Pope a provocative gift: A copy of a letter from a 13th-century Hungarian king to then-Pope Innocent IV,” CBS News noted.

Researchers find 3,600-year-old evidence that ancient city of Tall el-Hammam was destroyed by 'cosmic airburst,' which may have inspired Bible story of destruction of Sodom

Researchers have discovered 3,600-year-old evidence that the ancient city of Tall el-Hammam was destroyed by a 'cosmic airburst,' which may have inspired the Biblical story of destruction of Sodom, according to a new study.

Experts from around the world, including UC Santa Barbara, uncovered pottery shards that had their outer surfaces melted into glass, 'bubbled' mudbrick and partially melted building material in a 5-foot thick burn layer in the Jordan Valley.

These are indications of an anomalously high-temperature event, which the researchers say was 'larger than the 1908 Tunguska explosion in Siberia and significantly hotter than anything that the technology of the time could produce.

Hungary PM Viktor Orban Gave Pope Francis A 'Provocative Gift'

"At the meeting on Sunday, according to state media, Orban even handed the Pope a provocative gift: A copy of a letter from a 13th-century Hungarian king to then-Pope Innocent IV, asking for Rome's help to defeat an onslaught of foreign invaders — an apparent reference to migrants in the 21st century."

Mel Gibson: "A very deep sickness afflicts the church"

In a rare video appearance, Hollywood legend actor Mel Gibson released a 5-minute video on Friday September 10, 2021 in support of the 'Coalition for Canceled Priests,' ( ) who were holding a rally in Chicago with Fr. James Altman.

Gibson remarked that "a very deep sickness afflicts the church" and that it's "a grave injustice" and a "form of white martyrdom" when a priest is cancelled, which Gibson points out "is nothing new."

"Who's persecuting them? Well their own bishops," he said.

"If one of their priests utters something that resembles Orthodoxy, then they spring into action, reprimand him, bully him, and they do their best to cancel him. And succeed. They drum him out of the service, ya know. Off he goes. I'm really sorry about that. Its a grave injustice and a kind of white martyrdom."

Gibson noted that he is a sinful man, "I'm as venal as any other man," but that he can recognize the difference between a shepherd and a hireling.

WATCH: Prominent Canadian Imam Calls for West to Submit to Taliban — Says Christians and Jews Are ‘Our Enemies’

A prominent Canadian Imam is urging Canadians to support the Tablian’s invasion of Afghanistan, pronouncing Christians and Jews to be “enemies.”

In a recent sermon delivered in Justin Trudeau’s Canada, Imam Younus Kathrada lambasted Western countries, accusing Christians and Jews of sponsoring a futile battle against Islam.

Kathrada is now calling on fellow Canadians to support the Taliban and its efforts to impose sharia law across the world.

The Taliban has confirmed the country will be governed under strict sharia law – which includes the violent execution of anybody caught committing adultery or practicing homosexuality.

In his speech, the Islamic scholar accused Jews and Christians of attempting to spend “mountains of gold in order to take us away from Islam.”

Roman Catholic Diocese of Las Vegas will not issue religious exemptions for Covid-19 vaccine

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Las Vegas will not issue letters of exemption for the Covid-19 vaccine on religious grounds, the diocese told pastors Monday.

After "careful and prayerful consideration" based on reports from pastors in the diocese that they have received a small amount of such requests, Bishop George Leo Thomas said he believed that issuing vaccine exemptions would contradict guidance from Pope Francis, according to a communication obtained by CNN.

"For the past several months, our Holy Father Pope Francis has made it clear that the various forms of Covid vaccines are morally acceptable, urging Catholics across the globe to become vaccinated, not only for their own safety and well-being, but also out of concern for the weak and vulnerable in our midst," the bishop said.

Catholic Church's Latest Scandal: Reports of Priests Using Grindr In US And In Vatican

A series of reports from the conservative Catholic blog "The Pillar" show priests at various levels of the Catholic hierarchy in the US and the Vatican are using the gay dating app Grindr.

The Pillar released three reports over a three-day timeframe, one on July 20, the next on July 23, and the 27th.

The first report detailed Reverend Monsignor Jeffrey Burrill of the general secretary of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops resigned after "it found evidence the priest engaged in serial sexual misconduct, while he held a critical oversight role in the Catholic Church's response to the recent spate of sexual abuse and misconduct scandals."

Socialist archbishop inspired architect of the ‘Great Reset’

Editor of The Remnant, Michael Matt, recently brought to light a personal link between the architect of the Great Reset, Klaus Schwab, and a Brazilian archbishop of the Catholic Church.

Schwab is the executive chairman of the World Economic Forum, an organization that focuses on a variety of globalist initiatives, including shaping the “COVID Era,” “shaping the future of consumption,” and “shaping the Future of the New Economic Society.”

An overarching initiative that encompasses the mission of the WEF is the so-called “Great Reset.” Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò wrote an Open Letter to Donald Trump in October of last year – just before the 2020 election – warning about the goals of the Great Reset. Viganò called the initiative a plan hatched by “a global élite that wants to subdue all of humanity, imposing coercive measures with which to drastically limit individual freedoms and those of entire populations.”

‘Stone Adulterers’: Islamist Hate Preacher Anjem Choudary Calls on Taliban to Enforce Strict Sharia

Radical Islamist hate preacher Anjem Choudary has called for the Taliban to go full throttle in imposing Sharia law in Afghanistan by imposing an “infidel tax” on foreigners and stoning adulterers, among other extreme forms of ‘justice’.

The UK’s most infamous hate cleric had his ban on public speaking lifted earlier this year, which was imposed on Choudary upon his release from prison. The notorious preachers hadserved less than half of his five-and-a-half-year sentence for supporting the so-called Islamic State.

While Choudary has been banned for hate speech by Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp he has reportedly been using the encrypted Russian messaging app Telegram to spread his Islamist propaganda.

National Catholic Bioethics Center provides guide on religious exemption to COVID-19 vaccines

The National Catholic Bioethics Center (NCBC) has produced a template for those seeking a religious exemption from vaccine requirements, explaining “the principled religious basis on which a Catholic may determine that he or she ought to refuse certain vaccines.”

The NCBC published a “Vaccine Exemption Resource for Individuals” on July 21 as a guide to those Catholics whose “informed conscience” has come to the “sure judgement” that the experimental COVID-19 vaccines are either morally, medically, or legally impermissible.

The NCBC based its determination that freedom of conscience must be respected on documentation and instruction from within the Catholic Church, including works from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, the Pontifical Academy for Life, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC).

Under The Taliban, Christians In Afghanistan Are Facing A Future Of Sex Slavery, Forced Conversion And Brutal Persecution

At this hour, Christian families in Afghanistan are hiding in their homes waiting for the inevitable knock on the door. The Taliban is trying very hard to convince the rest of the world that they have become more moderate over the last two decades, but the reports that are coming in from those on the ground tell a completely different story. Large numbers of women are being rounded up to be used as sex slaves, non-Muslims are being forced to go to their local mosques for prayer five times a day, and those that refuse potentially face instant death. It was the most radical Islamic regime on the entire planet when they ruled Afghanistan two decades ago, and it is becoming exceedingly clear that they have not changed their ways at all.

As the Taliban reconquered the country, report after report of their door to door campaigns of terror came pouring in, and now we are hearing that similar things are even taking place in the heart of Kabul…

Muharram rituals organizers threatened by Bahraini authorities

In 680 AD, on Ashoura- the tenth day of the holy month of Muharram- Husain Ibn Ali, grandson of the Prophet Muhammad and the third Imam of Shia Muslims, was martyred in the desert of Karbala, located in contemporary Iraq.

Since then, Shia Muslims commemorate his martyrdom every year.

This year, as the coronavirus pandemic rages on, governments and health authorities everywhere are cautioning people to commemorate the event with strict health guidelines in mind.

In Bahrain, however, Shia Muslims have not been cautioned but banned from holding Muharram mourning rituals, ostensibly, to battle the pandemic but critics say the truth is far beneath the surface.

Lawyers Expect Lawsuits As Employers Navigate "Touchy" Subject Of Religious Objections To Vaccines

Now that the Biden Administration has outsourced the responsibility for enforcing America's vaccine mandate to individual employers (who for millions of Americans control access to health-care, income, and a sense of self-worth), legal experts expect companies to struggle with "touchy" subjects like workers with legitimate religious objections to vaccination, especially as workers increasingly demand to continue working from home.

Recently, the band the Offspring made headlines when it announced that its drummer, who had decided not to get the vaccine for legitimate medical issues, wouldn't be joining the rest of the band during an upcoming tour. The drummer explained in a statement that he had Guillain Barre syndrome when he was a child, and didn't want to risk trigger rare blood clots which are a documented side effect of the vaccine, making it unsuitable for certain high risk patients.

Pink Police State: FOIA Documents Show FBI Surveilled Conservative Christian Women's Group for Their Beliefs

Congressman Jim Jordan has dispatched a letter demanding answers from FBI Director Christopher Wray after Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) documents revealed that the Bureau targeted a conservative women’s non-profit in 2016. Wray was given until August 24th to respond.

The group in question, Conservative Women for America (CWA) is a non-profit started in 1978 which advocates against feminism, for the traditional family, opposes gay marriage, and lobbies against abortion.

In mid-July, the Cato Institute uncovered evidence showing that an FBI agent opened up an “assessment” — essentially a proto-investigation — into CWA despite having no predicate to do so.

The agent, whose name is redacted in the FOIA request, decided to embark on a “fishing expedition” that looked at CWA’s finances in hopes of finding evidence of fraud.

No, the Bible doesn’t command Christians to “stand with Israel”

As your Bible Explainer in Chief, let me quickly break it down for you– because no, the Bible doesn’t command we stand with Israel.

1. The entire “stand with Israel” theology is based on one verse.
…and the verse had nothing to do with any modern nation state born a few thousand years later.

Preachers will claim God commands we stand with Israel in order to be blessed, but that’s not what the Bible says. In Genesis 12:3 God is reported to have told Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.” This was a promise to Abraham- neither biblical Israel nor modern Israel existed when this was written. It was a promise to Abraham as part of God’s covenant with him.

2. The Bible teaches that the true descendants of Abraham are spiritual, not ethnic.

Facebook Sets Its Sights On Religion. Should Americans Be Worried?

Facebook has been courting partnerships with religious groups in hopes of becoming their virtual home, the New York Times reported in late July. Experts and religious leaders told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the social media platform’s interest in shaping the future of religious experience should be closely monitored to protect religious freedom.

Though it is unlikely that a virtual religious experience will replace in-person religious services, the Times acknowledged, Facebook’s partnerships with religious groups expose Facebook’s plans to shape the future of the religious experience — as it has done with both political and social life.

Delingpole: ‘God Has Raised Up a Prophet In Greta Thunberg’, Says Fmr Archbishop of Canterbury

“God has raised up a prophet in Greta Thunberg in a way that no one could predict,” former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams has claimed. “She has said things no one else could have said. Thank God for her!”

Rowan Williams (the Welsh Wizard, as the bearded cleric is nicknamed, because of his resemblance to a druid) had a reputation during his lacklustre incarnation as Britain’s most senior cleric as an intellectual and a theologian. But what he says here is both incredibly stupid and theologically illiterate. There is nothing brave or special, let alone prophet-like about the Doom Goblin Thunberg. And if she is anyone’s servant on earth, it is far more plausible that she is Lucifer’s than God’s.

‘Facebook has officially jumped the shark’: New tool allowing users to ‘REQUEST PRAYERS’ met with mockery

Facebook has introduced a new feature allowing users to request prayers – an update that has been roundly mocked and skewered by critics, who say Facebook has far larger issues to focus on.

Users can use the tool to request mass prayers for anything from a job interview to personal health. After a user creates their post, others can click a button reading, “I prayed.” The feature began being tested in the US in December.

“During the Covid-19 pandemic, we’ve seen many faith and spirituality communities using our services to connect, so we’re starting to explore new tools to support them,” a statement from a Facebook spokesperson reads.

Facebook’s ‘prayer tool’ was met with skepticism and mockery on social media, where many critics blasted the company for focusing on the new feature over numerous other issues, such as concerns over misinformation and censorship.

Sex, lies and cardinal sin? The latest Vatican scandal has a plot like a Dan Brown novel and characters including the Pope's saint-maker, his 'Mata Hari' fixer and a secret cabal accused of siphoning MILLIONS from Church coffers

As a tidal wave of cash flowed into London’s super-prime property market, the deal that saw a former Harrods car showroom in Chelsea change hands for £129 million generated barely a ripple of interest.

Like many a property in this gilded corner of our capital, the Edwardian brick building on Sloane Avenue was to be converted into 49 luxury flats, with a smattering of top-end shops beneath to cater for residents.

The buyer, an opaque company named 60 SA Limited and registered in the tax haven of Jersey, hoped to sell them for a total of £400 million and turn a handsome profit.

Polish priest fined by German court for criticizing homosexual predators in the Church

Polish priest Fr. Dariusz Oko has been charged by a German court with “incitement to hatred” for an article he wrote about homosexual clerical abuse, following a complaint by a pro-LGBT priest in Germany.

Oko’s article, published in the January/February edition of theological journal Theologisches, highlighted cases of abuse by homosexual priests and bishops and detailed mechanisms used by “homoclans” or a “homomafia” of predatory clerics to avoid accountability.

Oko described such groups as “a colony of parasites” that “cares first of all for itself, and not for the hosts at whose expense it lives,” and as a “homosexual plague” or a “cancer that is even ready to kill its host,” among other things. He stressed that “the existence of such powerful clans” attested to by both Pope Francis and Pope Benedict XVI “is an obvious logical, ethical, and dogmatic contradiction to the very essence of the Church and her teaching.”

Report: ‘Extensive’ Gay Hookup App Usage Compromises Vatican Security

Location-based homosexual and heterosexual hookup apps are widely used within Vatican walls, an investigative report revealed late Tuesday, which can open the Holy See to blackmail and other security risks.

The report by the Pillar, an online Catholic news agency, raised particular concerns of vulnerability to China, which until 2020 owned the gay hookup app Grindr, one of the services whose use in the Vatican was uncovered.

The Pillar revealed that at least 16 different mobile devices emitted signals from Grindr on at least four days between March and October 2018 within the areas of the Vatican City State not open to the public.

What Could Go Wrong? Facebook Floats a New "Prayer Posts" Feature to Capitalize on Faith Communities

Along with shutting down “misinformation” on COVID-19 and vaccines, Facebook has quite a reputation for shutting down religious views it doesn’t agree with; most notably pages that are pro-Israel or that are focused on traditional religious and Christian values.

Back in May, Jewish Business News reported on the shutting down of the Jerusalem Prayer Group page, a known pro-Israel organization, after it was the victim of a cyberattack by pro-Palestinian hackers.

Jerusalem Prayer Group has had its page shut down by Facebook. The group is crying foul, claiming that it was the victim of anti-Israel hackers. The Christian religious group had more than 75 million followers for its Facebook page.

Stay Away From The Vaxxed: It Is Official, From Pfizer’s Own Documents

"Hellish" Noise Complaints Lodged About £30,000 Per Week Luxury London Flat...Owned By The Vatican

A flat in London that is owned by none other than the Vatican has come under controversy for the amount of "hellish noise" coming from the unit late at night.

The £30,000 per week luxury flat in question is at Hans Place in Chelsea, FT reported this week. Complaints about "loud events" with some involving DJs, have been lodged with the local council, the report notes. The unit is 9,000 square feet and houses a large garden and indoor swimming pool.

The property was bought among other luxury London properties in 2014 in a purchase that was "overseen by cardinal Giovanni Angelo Becciu". Becciu was the first cardinal in modern times to be charged with financial crimes by the Vatican this year.

Court rules against university that targeted Christian group, saying they were 'hard-pressed' to find a more blatant example of 'discrimination'

The 8th Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday ruled against the University of Iowa calling its decision to deregister a Christian student group as one of the most obvious examples of discrimination that it has ever seen.

In a ruling issued on Friday, the court unanimously sided with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, a national faith-based group that organizes local chapters at colleges and universities around the country, putting on Bible studies and worship gatherings.

In 2018, the University of Iowa decided to deregister InterVarsity — along with other student religious groups on campus — over its commonsense practice of requiring leaders to agree with its statement of faith.

In targeting religious groups, the university cited its Human Rights Policy, which mandates that student groups not differentiate on the basis of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, and a range of other categories — religion included.

The Coalition for Canceled Priests (CFCP) has come about in response to “one too many instances of persecution or betrayal.” Composed of both laity and clerical members, the CFCP has at its core the traditional teachings of the Catholic faith.

“We believe in the Catholic Church’s traditional teachings on faith and morals and acknowledge that the Catholic Church has, since its founding by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, had a universal mission to bring each individual to sanctity and ultimate salvation,” reads the site.

Vatican indicts 10 people, including a cardinal, over an international financial scandal

The Vatican has indicted 10 people, including an Italian cardinal, for several alleged financial crimes including extortion, corruption, fraud, forgery, embezzlement and abuse of power.

The investigation, which started in July 2019, was carried out by the Vatican in cooperation with Italian authorities and revealed "a vast network of ties between financial market operators who generated substantial losses for the Vatican finances," a statement from the Vatican said on Saturday.

Cardinal Giovanni Angelo Becciu was indicted "for the crimes of embezzlement, abuse of office ... and bribery," the Vatican added. Becciu allegedly used money from the Vatican to benefit his two brothers' businesses, according to a detailed report by Vatican News, which is what led the Pope to fire the cardinal last year.

'Will Keep Reconverting Muslims': Unease Among India's Hindu Nationalists Over RSS Chief's Remarks

India’s topmost Hindu nationalist leader, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, a prominent ally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has said that “Hindus and Muslims have a common DNA”. “If a Hindu says that no Muslim should live here [in India], then that person is not a Hindu”, he said. Bhagwat's comments have stirred unease among many Hindu nationalists.

India's leading Hindu nationalist organisation - Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) - has said that it will continue with its mission of "reconverting Muslims back to Hinduism", as it reacted to the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) leader’s recent remarks made during an event of its Muslim wing.

Reconversion in this case is about bringing those people back into the Hindu-fold who may have been converted to Islam or Christianity against their will.

Media is FINALLY covering immense crimes against indigenous peoples in Canada that were known about DECADES ago. So why now?

The reprehensible issue of what many deem “mass murder” of indigenous children in Canada’s Catholic school system has been in global headlines in recent weeks. But this should have been in the headlines decades ago.

The nearly 1,000 bodies of indigenous children in mass graves were recently found by ground-penetrating radar, said the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous First Nations (FSIN) and the Cowessess First Nation.

A reported 150,000 indigenous children were abducted and imprisoned in the Catholic schools, where they were tortured with the intent of erasing their culture and language, as were also sexually abused, had needles driven through their tongues for speaking their own language, were sterilized, among many other horrific practices.

Israel’s years-long recruitment of African American Christians: A case study

For many decades, Israel partisans have worked to recruit American Christians to support Israel, despite Israel’s dispossession and oppression of Christians during its founding war and in the years since. Even before Israel was established in 1948, there were major efforts to recruit Christians to the Zionist cause.

Many Christian Americans (and Jewish Americans) initially opposed the creation of a Jewish state in Palestine, which would entail the ethnic cleansing of a land whose population was 95 percent non-Jewish. The movement to establish Israel, “political zionism,” formed front groups to overcome this opposition by targeting Americans of all religions and political backgrounds and flooding them with propaganda. There are even indications that the Scofield Bible, which influenced millions of evangelicals to support Israel, was procured by Zionists.

Canadian First Nation Uncovers 182 Graves at Another Former Forced Assimilation School

The Lower Kootenay Band said on Wednesday that they have located the remains of 182 individuals at the site of a former Canadian forced assimilation school.

The remains were located at the site of the former St. Eugene’s Mission School in Cranbrook, British Columbia, which was operated by the Roman Catholic Church between 1912 and the 1970s, the statement said.

The discovery was made just a week after the Cowessess First Nation the Canadian province of Saskatchewan located 751 unmarked graves on the site of a former residential school. Prior to that, Tk'emlups te Secwepemc First Nation announced that a deep scan of the Kamloops Indian Residential School site with ground-penetrating radar confirmed the discovery of 215 children’s remains, with some of the deceased being as young as three years old.

Sacred Heart on Penticton Indian Band Territory and St. Gregory’s on Osoyoos Band Land, near Oliver, were both on land belonging to First Nations communities in British Columbia. According to firefighters, they were turned to ashes early Monday morning with the use of a “liquid accelerant” in what local authorities are calling “suspicious” fires.

“A Penticton RCMP officer was on patrol on June 21, 2021, at 1:22 a.m., when he noticed fire coming from the Sacred Heart Church on Green Mountain Road. The church was totally consumed by the time the officer reached on scene, according to a press release issued by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on June 22.

Vatican Urges Rome to Drop Law Forcing Church Schools to Teach Gender Theory

The Vatican argues the new Italian law would violate 90-year-old treaties between the two states and criminalise the church for not allowing same-sex marriage and adoption by gay couples and for refusing to teach practices that go against Catholic values.

The Vatican City has formally asked Italy to drop a proposed law that could see the Catholic church criminalised for refusing to conduct gay marriages.

In a move described as "unprecedented" by the daily Corriere della Sera newspaper, the Roman micro-state of the Holy See has made a formal protest to the Italian government.

Pope Francis' envoy Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher delivered a letter or 'note verbale' to the Italian embassy to the Vatican on June 17.
The so-called "Zan bill," named after gay MP Alessandro Zan from the centre-left Democratic Party, was passed by the lower house of parliament in November and is currently being debated in the Senate.
